This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

But...I know I am feeding myself and my kids when they are home..I honestly try to keep all my out of pocket costs super low. Gas for my car, is almost $300 a month mainly for the reason of just driving back and forth to work. I know I will be laid off again at work this December for who knows how long? Usually it is 3 months. Then I return back to work. A crazy vicious cycle.
Remember we cannot help others unless they want to help themselves. We all must need to reflect on our own lives. The way are households incomes have switched because of coupons. Do we have more toys, more books? Planning trips we never could have before hand? Yes, because of coupons we all our life has been affected.
I met a gentleman at a retail store yesterday. His question was, "Are you successful?"
We all are successful here at SD.
Thanks to all of you who are sending me the rebate forms. I'm going to use as many as I get since I have 7 receipts!! Big thanks to bobsgirl in southern WI, who told me where she found the FFS coupon booklets. I searched and found a Sentry store in Milwaukee and lucked out with a bunch of coupons!!
My freezer isn't freezing, because I think it's too full, so I brought 2 coolers full down to my Mom's have 2 coolers full in my basement and I'm defrosting it now. I just think it's too full! How much is too much???? Now, I'm cutting UPCs and have a question. How do I match the UPC on the box to the number on the Target receipt? None of the numbers seem to match up. Will it matter when sending in the rebate if I just send the correct number of pop tart UPCs with the number of pop tarts on the receipt? I want to have everything set to send in.
Thanks again. You're all the best!
hi check the coils and vacuum them. Defrosting it may juse be a bandaid. Doing searches on google for how to fix things has save us some $. Good luck! When it rains it poors!
You're so nice! Aren't you the one who posted that you brought your neighbor a bag of Durex stuff?
Thanks again. You're all the best!
So happy today... I was able to get DH his Wii fit... I know he's been wanting to get it for the longest time but haven't had luck finding it in stores. Since I have been doing the Poptarts Deal, I was able to get around $40 in GC and told him if Wii Fit will be in stock at T, im gonna get him one
Objectives of assignment:
Develop a spreadsheet application designed such "that someone other than the developer can perform useful work without extensive training" (Walkenbach, Excel 2007, Power Programming with VBA, 2001, p 98). Link to a more extensive discussion of spreadsheet application from Walkenbach's book.
Turn accounting data into useful information by producing a management "decision support tool"
Expand Excel skill set beyond minimum COB requirements

Trying for another baby here, and then when they (hopefully) are in school I will go back to work.
oatmeal is the only thing that sounds good right now. ok-that and the chinese buffet. TGIF stuff makes me nauseous thinking about it.

Anybody have any pill for this sickness called SD?
I actually think that they are all jealous. Not everyone can do what we can do, but they would all like to reap the rewards. Just like lots of things, it takes hard work and preparation, and most people don't want to put in the work. So it's easier to poke fun at those that do... But we understand and think that you are great and are a deal master (or mistress

I understand what you mean about your pet. We have an old lady cat who's been with us since my DH and I first started dating. We're not sure how old she is, but at least 12. Lots of health problems, though she keeps hanging in there. I don't know what we'll do without her.
(can you tell I'm an animal person???)

Also, most of my inserts didn't have the electrasol Qs, but a couple of them did. I don't use Electrasol, but I think my mom does. Can someone fill me in on where I can use the Qs to get it free or cheap... or PM me if there are other uses...
TIA!
As long as you don't roofie me, we'll be ok. Gah, who am I kidding, go ahead and roofie me.

As far as the rebate, I don't think the Kellogg's peeps have any access to T's system, so it shouldn't matter as long as the UPCs match up to the type of product-- Pop Tart, RKT, or whatever. I wouldn't worry about the flavor too much.
My oldest kitty is my first DS - he was with me before I met DH even - just he and I. He is my baby and I cry when I think that he might not be around forever...
Holy cow!!! I can't believe that - you rescued him from the mouth of a snake. I'm sure your bunny LOVES you!!!
(can you tell I'm an animal person???)
Yeah, join the crowd.

I still haven't gotten back into my pants after having DS 2 - ugh. And if we keep getting deals like TGIF and Poptarts/RKT, I never will. Granted it would help if I tried a bit...
I only made one trip to ST this week, I sure everyone appreciates my staing away and not sharing my germs
this is what happens when I shop sick.
