eta: I bet she went w/out me. Sister rivalry..I think I'm going to her house and then to K!
Thanks Terri , I might hit up the other Kmart as they still had q's left too, and be sure and get the right ones! and some more gc's

Ok...so i set the amt at 1500...i get 1500 right away, then pay it back throughout the year pre tax??

Yep you get it right away. (I work in HR). If you use the entire amount in one day and then quit, they are out the money and you are lucky.

On the flip side, if you elect for $1500.00, it is use it or lose it.

Well between me and dh we have a bare minimum of $480.00 a year in copays on meds....and his dr just added two new meds. She gave him two weeks of samples...if they work out that will probably be another $480 and that doesn't include any of the pain meds he gets. That's at least another $120, most of the time more. That's just meds, doesn't include and dr. co pays or dental.

I think I can sign up for it in Nov. so right now I'm trying to figure out how much to put into it.

Can I just say that I look like a total crack head who forgot how to shoot up right now. lol I had to get blood drawn and I told the nurse right off the bat that I have tiny veins and it's best to just do it in my hand....think she listened to me?? Nooooooooo She tried the first arm.....she missed the vein so i have bruising where the needle was AND where the water she used to flush it out went up into my arm....same thing on the other freakin arm. She finally had to call another nurse, who then did it in my hand, just like I told her to in the first place. I don't blame her for my small veins...i blame her for not listening to me in the first place!!

Yep...heard that joke many times over the years. I've only owned domestic vehicles...Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Lincoln, Cadillac. I like the Fusion, it's fun to drive....but went to test drive a Cadillac the other day....and that might be my next choice.
"Yes...that car did return the favor!" LMAO

Truthfully.....the Fords and Lincolns have always been in it for the long haul. I tend to keep my vehicles until they drop (either myself, or they end up in the hands of extended family members). In fact....got a nice 1993 F150 lawn ornament on the side of the house!! I told DH if he didn't get rid of it soon...he was gonna have to put Christmas lights on it this winter. Wouldn't the neighbors like that!!??
LOL, my first car was a 1995 Ford Aspire, that thing kept me going for 10 years! It currently has a dead battery, and a clutch with a part that can't be fixed unless I can find the part a junk yard. I keep meaning to get a new pink slip so I can donate it or sell it to a junk yard, LOL. But it was a great car for me while I was driving it! Now I drive a Honda and I will never go back.

gosh, maybe I need to get in touch with my 'softer' side laugh out loud (but yes, I have told people where to put things before)
Heee, I am very sweet and often walk my young cashiers thru the process, I know all the buttons to push and everything, they are always a little surprised that I know how there registers work better than they do, heehee

I had a previous boss once ask me to help out, I was picking something up and there was aline of 10 customers and the employee a former coworker taking her time and had been with one customer for over 15 min, I scooted around the register and had everyone rang thru in under 10 min. The old coworker glared at me while the old manager just sighed, she really missed me.

I can't help it if I pay more attention to what is happening than employees do to how to operate a rather simple computer program.

YIPEEE! I have been to at least 8 WAGs and finally found the free glade warmer peelies - 20 of them and I took them all!!!! I also found some more momma mia peelies!!!!! Now, I think that i read to use the glade peelies at kfart and get a $2 catalina. Is this going on now? I thought I also read to save them for next week. What is the deal next week? they have an expiration date of 2010!!!!!

Also here is a list of eligible FSA expenses - batteries for hearing aids are included
https://www.fsafeds.com/fsafeds/e...penses.asp

I do FSA and it saves me loads of money. I can do some deals at WAGs or C*S and actually get the items for free or close to it (robitussen) and then submit for reimbursement and get the full cost of the robi back (my receipt may actually say I spent $2.71 and I will still get the full $3.99 back X3). It just makes do deals that much sweeter. I did $1500 in my FSA this year, we are a family of 4 with no medical issues and I have almost used the amount up.
We did about that since they started allowing over the counter items.
Next year we will save more cause I am planing an expensive dental item $450 oop, plus 3 pairs of glasses that average $200-$500 oop after insurance, dh always finds the most expensive pair plus clip, don't know how he does that but he does, and me and dd both need special lenses that cost extra, plus tint, etc...

The same can be said for "no coverage" on birth control pills, IUDs, patches or shots, but your health insurance will pay for getting your tubes tied or your DH getting the *snip* (doublesided Big Grin) Scratchhead
I thought that most states now require birth control to be covered? Mine always has been, for the last 12 years, and 4 different insurance companies, 3 different employers, 2 different states.
