Might be dead for shipping with error code:
gamestop website lists wrong specs for their product (their specs are for the Alienware Alpha ASM100-7980 which would come with windows 8.1 and 2TB hdd)

Been using my i3 alienware alpha for over a year. For those too lazy, the i7 will yield only 10-15% more FPS in games. Get the i7 if you need cpu power (photoshop, video editing, etc). The best upgrade for this machine is definitely to throw in a SSD. There's videos all over YouTube for it.
