I called Wells Fargo to confirm the deal. My wife was envious when I got a fat check from the previous deal.
I showed my sympathy by calling to confirm the deal is still around. They renewaled it.

it's Wells Fargo, there is nobody in charge, they are bleeding customers and profit. WF has such a long and rich history, now it's like San Francisco.

why don't you just call them, maybe that'll solve it.
I understand because I was going to do the same thing but I wasted over 2 hours on the phone last night. I was told I was eligible for the promotion before opening the account, but after completing the application online and Wells Fargo doing a soft pull of my credit, I was then told I was not eligible for the promotion. I spoke to 5 different representatives that all told me I was eligible. One particilar rep told me that after I opened the account, the application department would then apply the promotional code. After being transferred to the application department they said there was nothing they could do because I didn't go through the link. If the representatives would of just told me upfront that I could only get the promo through the link I would of just said oh well and moved on. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and they don't back up the customer. $250 isn't a ton of money but they hit my credit and lied to me. It's just really bad customer service. The only company that I can think of that is this bad is Ebay. Anyhow, thanks for listening to me rant and I do hope you get the promotion. Have a great day.
