I can't get the deal on mobile but will definitely be emailing their customer support. I'm fairly pissed at TaxACT in general though - for YEARS I've gotten their download product and its cost between $13 and $23 with various discounts and promotions. 2015 had a limited time discount of $18 which I missed so I paid $23 eventually, which was a discount from full price of $30. Now 2016 taxes roll around and the greedy assholes are charging SIXTY DOLLARS for the same product and there have been ZERO discounts offered in my email. Excuse me? WTF? I get that the price will go up, but to DOUBLE the full list price and effectively TRIPLE it for most users is completely BS. I emailed them before to state this in a more constructive manner and was offered 20% off but I had to call and do my purchase over the phone to get that "deal". TaxACT as far as I'm concerned has shot themselves in the foot this year.

How do you check to ensure the $10 cost once you sign in? Didn't see anywhere in the menu to see profile and cost.

I tried, and the signup page said $10, but when I created an account and went to start it wanted to charge $47+$38. I even started the return and then checked the fees and it wasn't $10.

FYI - once you create a return, you can check fees by clicking
My Return (top right)
My Return Details
My Return Fees (in the Payment Information section)
