like I needed another laptop or tablet, but this is both so in for one. Mostly a media center chromecast remote and I like chromebooks, even with 2GB of RAM. Always wanted one with 4GB and touchscreen for android apps

Not really. Even with tax, the R11 is still at or around the lowest it's been, plus returns are easy should you decide not to keep it. As for the R13, while returns aren't as simple, it's still the lowest price it's been, tax included.

I have a 4gb 32gb model at work and I love it! the touchscreen is awesome and being able to install Android apps is amazing. this is a great device! I also have Microsoft remote desktop on it and can remote into my Windows machine. it's awesome!

Anyone know when the R13 will get android apps support without having to go into the dev channel? Acer told me that going into the dev channel voids the warranty.

LOL! Literally, this made me laugh out loud. Never, I repeat never listen to Acer support. They are some of the most incompetent support reps in the whole consumer tech industry.

1. Apps and the Play Store have been available on the R13 in the beta channel for months now (November to be precise).

2. Even if what they say about the Dev channel voiding warranty is true (which I've never heard once before), how in the world with Acer know if you switched to the developer channel and then switched back to Beta or Stable channels at a later date?

I posted Groupon mainly so if that price is still going for 1-2+ hours after the ebay coupon expires and for those who already used it. Not seeing tax here and 9% eb cb could offset price difference or tax. Sorry I didn't spend much time on jet.

Any idea which would be better quality refurb, ebay or Groupon? Or same?
