FAQ
Does Disney Plus have promo codes?
Sometimes, mainly around Black Friday or when pushing new content.
How can I get discounts on Disney Plus?
Bundles give you 42-47% off, Black Friday drops prices significantly, students get 15% through Student Beans, military gets 25% via The Exchange, annual billing saves 16%.
Are Disney Plus bundle deals worth it?
Absolutely—Duo Basic saves $10.99 monthly versus separate subscriptions, giving you both libraries for barely more than Disney Plus costs on its own.
Can I share my Disney Plus account?
Within your household, yes (up to four streams at a time), but Disney flags out-of-household sharing. They've got an Extra Member add-on for $4.99-5.99/month to add another household to your plan.
What are the benefits of Disney+ Extra Members?
With the Disney+ Extra Member add-on, the account holder can add one friend or family member who lives outside the primary household. The Extra Member receives almost all the same content and features as the main subscriber’s account, but streams under their own login and on one device at a time.
Are there any discounts for Disney+ Extra Members?
Disney+ does not present the Extra Member option as a “discount” per se, but rather a separate paid add-on with a set monthly fee (e.g., $6.99/month or $9.99/month in the U.S., depending on your plan) for the extra profile outside the household. There is no standard promotional “discount code” publicly listed for this add-on; terms are fixed for eligible accounts.
Can I add an extra member to my Disney+ or Disney Bundle subscription?
You can add an Extra Member if you have an eligible Disney+ subscription (not through certain partner-bundles) and your account is billed directly. However, the add-on may not currently be available if you subscribe via a bundle (for example Hulu + Disney+ or if you’re billed through a third-party partner. Always check your specific plan eligibility.
How to remove an Extra Member or cancel the add-on?
To remove an Extra Member, go to your account settings in the Disney+ app or website, locate the Extra Member add-on section and follow the prompts to cancel or remove the profile. Once removed, the Extra Member profile will lose its access at the next billing cycle and you’ll no longer be charged the additional fee. It’s a good idea to review your billing history to confirm the change took effect.
What devices support Disney Plus?
Pretty much everything – smart TVs, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, PlayStation, Xbox, phones, tablets, browsers.
How to Use Disney Plus Deals
Pick whatever deal makes sense from the list above and click through. You'll end up on Disney Plus or whichever partner site is running the promo. Most codes copy themselves when you click, which is handy. At checkout just paste it in the promo box—though bundles usually show the discount automatically anyway. Enter your payment details and start watching immediately.
When You Can Save More at Disney Plus
Timing matters with Disney Plus deals. They've gotten pretty predictable about when the big sales hit—mostly around major shopping holidays. Lock in during these windows and you can ride out discounted rates for months, sometimes a full year.
Watch for flash promos around big content drops too. New Marvel shows, Star Wars stuff—they'll sometimes throw out quick deals to capitalize on the hype.
Disney Plus Black Friday Deals
This is it—the best deal you'll see all year. Late November, like clockwork. Last year they dropped the Disney Plus and Hulu bundle to $2.99 monthly for 12 months. That's 72% off, which is kind of insane.
The catch is that these are almost always new subscriber deals. Already have Disney Plus? Cancel it now, wait a month, then jump back in during Black Friday. The promos usually stick around through Cyber Monday but we're talking 4-5 days total, so don't wait around thinking about it.
Disney Plus Cyber Monday Savings
Cyber Monday basically extends Black Friday's deal. It will have the same pricing, running through December 2nd at midnight ET. If you missed Friday or were still deciding, you've got a second chance. They've kept the deals identical the past few years, so no FOMO needed – though there's always a risk that they’ll pull it early.
Disney Plus Seasonal Sales
Disney+ does run smaller promos scattered throughout the year. In late summer, for example, when students go back, or in that dead zone between Christmas and New Year's. You won’t find anything as generous as during Black Friday however.
Deals timed around the release of some content also happen throughout the year, such as for big Marvel releases or flagship Star Wars shows. It’s usually something like "first three months at $1.99" on the ad tier, which is great for binging a specific show without committing long-term.
Disney Plus Exclusive Promotional Periods
Partnerships pop up throughout the year. Verizon is their main partner, with certain Unlimited plans having Disney Plus bundled in, sometimes for six months free or longer depending on the plan you choose.
Credit cards occasionally offer statement credits or temporary access as perks. Retailers like Target run gift card promos—buy one, get bonus Target credit. Samsung threw in year-long subscriptions with phone purchases at one point. These come and go.
More Ways to Save at Disney Plus
The easiest route is to use the coupons listed at the top of the page, but here are some other angles if you want to stack savings or just explore options:
Choose Annual Billing for Disney Plus
Pay yearly, save automatically. Disney Plus Premium annual is $189.99, which comes to roughly $15.83 monthly versus $18.99 paying month-to-month. This is basically like getting two free months. It also locks your rate for a year, which will protect you from any price bumps that might happen in that time.
Student Discounts at Disney Plus
Students get 15% off the first year via Student Beans or UNiDAYS. Verify with your .edu email or enrollment docs, get a code. This only works for new subscribers.
Military and Veteran Benefits
Active duty, vets, and military families all get 25% off annual Premium through The Exchange. You will need military ID and AAFES access. This pushes the yearly price down from $189.99 to about $142.49. It works at U.S. bases and some international locations.
Credit Card Statement Credits
American Express Blue Cash Everyday gives you $7 back monthly (up to $84/year) when you spend $9.99+ on Disney Bundles. This makes Duo Basic effectively $5.99 after the credit hits. Other premium cards sometimes have streaming perks too, but this changes quite often. Any cashback card adds another 1-2% back.
Bundle Your Streaming Services
Disney bundles are where the real savings are, with 42-47% off versus buying everything solo. Duo Basic with ads runs $12.99 monthly instead of $23.98 separate. For no ads, Duo Premium is $19.99 versus $37.98.
Trio Basic adds ESPN Plus for $16.99/month, which is essential if you’re into sports. Everything runs through one account with one bill, making managing your account really simple.
Carrier and Internet Provider Perks
Verizon offers the Disney Bundle for $10 monthly on certain Unlimited plans, sometimes Disney Plus Premium free for six months when signing up.
Other carriers do promos occasionally – trial periods, discounts on upgrades. Internet providers bundle it into fiber/cable packages sometimes. Just make sure the "free" Disney Plus doesn't come attached to an expensive plan that costs more overall.
About Disney Plus
Launched November 2019 and now with over 150 million subscribers globally, Disney Plus is where all Disney content lives – everything from classic Disney movies, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, 20th Century Studios. They also release huge originals like The Mandalorian, WandaVision, Loki, and The Bear (through Hulu).
Disney Plus allows you to stream on up to four devices at once, or download to 10 different devices for offline viewing. Everything is available in 4K and Dolby Atmos on all plans, though some services lock that quality behind pricier tiers. It works on smart TVs, streaming sticks, consoles, phones, tablets, and browsers.
Disney is planning to merge Hulu into Disney Plus in 2026. You can supposedly still subscribe separately but it'll all be one app, expanding their offer even further.
