Can you cite any examples of BYD lying about this?

Here's several newer stories than yours, reiterating what I already told you- BYD explicitly states they have no plans to enter the US market.

I mean, not in the US they aren't.

See multiple sources above on that.

BTW the Mexico factory in question (which again, isn't for the US market) hasn't even picked a location yet.- that decision is slated for late this year, meaning it'd be ~2026 before it's actually making any cars.... Tesla plans to have its own low-cost car on the market before then anyway.
As soon as BYD meed local content, 65% I believe, it can bring their cars in the US under USMCA
Well Tesla has plans, BYD vehicle already available and will imported from China at the beginning
and it's still cheaper, while Tesla has no car or factory as of yet

Can? Sure (mind you, even can is 2+ years away)

Intends to? No. In fact you were just shown BYD explicitly telling you they are not doing it.

Why do you keep fearmongering about already debunked claims?

Utterly false on multiple levels my dude.

0 plans to enter the US market at all- including with the mexican factory that's at least 2 years away from production.

Doubly so with china imported cars that'd get killed on import tariffs

Why do you only post untrue things?

Quote from kipper99 :

Tesla has 4 factories. The first one planned for production of the next-gen cheap car is the existing one in Austin. The ones in China and Germany will then produce them in EU and China.

The to-be-built Mexico factory will be ADDITIONAL production beyond the 3 existing factories.

Are you ever not wrong?

Also why keep spamming a thread about a completely different vehicle, already for sale today, with misinformation?

What do you feel you're accomplishing doing that?

When selecting a model (e.g. Model Y) and sorting from low to high price, it shows a slight difference in prices as you scroll down. The brief description below the car is the same.

What feature(s) are being added for this incremental price difference?

There's three tiers:

* RWD - Base Sound Systems + Standard Range
* AWD - Great Sound System + Highest Range
* AWD+Performance - Great Sound System + Track Mode Settings + Different Rim/Tires + Less Range + Highest Top Speed.

More $$$ means also faster 0-60 speeds also.

Apologies my intial question was not clear. I have picked filters: Model Y, New, AWD, 19" wheels.

Below the image of each car are the details:

One is showing $44,090 with Stealth Grey Paint, 19'' Gemini Wheels, All Black Premium Interior, Five Seat Interior

Next to it are other two ones but these show show $45,070, $45,490. Both are Stealth Grey Paint, 19'' Gemini Wheels, All Black Premium Interior, Five Seat Interior.

Why the small difference in price if the specs are the same? I do see different paint can result in higher prices but the 3 examples above have the same paint.

I believe most likely one of them might include Tow Hitch for additional cost.

It could be the location of the vehicles

It could be the age or how long they have been in inventory

It could be some have miles on them maybe a few hundred

Also keep in mind some people refuse their car due to fit and finish reasons, those cars are probably returned to inventory so maybe one of those is cheaper

Some are refused due to paint chip. If you buy it, Tesla will fix for you. You will just need to schedule it. Some people don't want to bother with that so they refuse and get a new clean one.

I don't think so. In my experience it's mostly the pick-up location is different.

Click into the details check the last section pick-up location

lmfao the dude in the vid spent $19k in repairs. I'm almost 250k miles in my civic and only repair I've had to do is a starter ($100)
There is more to maintaining an automobile than *repairs*.

I'm not saying the civic isn't fantastic, but realistically any car at 260k has had more than a starter to maintain.
