Very nice. Can confirm all are Movies Anywhere eligible. Showed up immediately on my MA account after purchase.

Thanks, OP!
just proved how the digital assets are worthless!
AMAZING that they can revert everything - everywhere (I noticed being Moviews anywhere the movies were registered on my account) - just vanished after order cancellation.

It means - if it comes to - the digital asset lords can also make your other digital assets make vanish overnight! eye opener.

Amazon is losing its charm, not the same company we used to like anymore.
This episode proved it one more time.

Weird. How much would it really cost them in the long run to let all of us keep them, and maybe stream them a couple of times, in the grand scheme of things? These aren't exactly movies people were anxious to buy.

Got two and today Amazon took them back. They said it was a pricing mistake.

Quote from Slacky :
The same way I'm going to go through all the things I've bought from them and regret the price I agreed to. I'll send them a notice that says they were all "unfortunately a 'purchase mistake'" and inform them I'm reversing all THOSE purchases. I could buy a vacation home with the money.

I guess Amazon isn't already getting enough bad press after raising Prime so high, changing from two-day to "whenever," and then now forcing commercials into the video service. Never thought I'd consider dropping Prime but coming very close with each day.
Effin' A with the two-day to whenever. It's insulting they continue to call it two-day for a long time now.

Finally, clowns can stop coming to blu-ray disc threads and asking why people still buy physical. Besides the superior audio and visual quality and extra content, you actually OWN your movies. Nobody can come in and snatch them away from you.

Yep, I've been an advocate for MovesAnywhere for a long-ass time, but this just sealed the deal for me to move back to pirating. If a company can simply revoke a title, what's to say the company won't pull their entire library out when it goes under?

Edit:

It's one thing to not honor a sale of a mistakenly priced item, but if the item is shipped, delivered, and received, you don't go into someone's home and yank it back. This is theft, and I would love to talk to a lawyer about this, purely for the precedent it could set.

I don't really agree with either of the extremes "Amazon broke into my home and robbed me" or "what are people upset about, it didn't cost you anything so why do you care?"

I land more in the middle where, yeah this sucks, it's always cool to get cheap/free stuff especially from big soulless corporations, but to say I'm confident that any of my digital libraries will exist 40 years from now also feels like a stretch knowing the language that all these companies use for their digital purchases.

What isn't hyperbole, is that Amazon is a sinking ship, as a longtime user of Amazon Music, Prime Video, and the main site, I've seen the music app just get worse, and worse, and worse over the years (seriously how does a simple music app continue to take steps backwards after over a decade of development) and the "free" music included with prime vanish with the wind.

Customer service is also dust in the wind, they used to bend over backwards to make things right, and they were always located in the US so there wasn't a language/culture barrier, now you can barely get in touch with a human and the site likes to send you around in circles hoping you'll just give up.

Now they're charging to remove adds from their own content, I'm sorry, but what is Amazon Prime even for anymore? Slightly faster shipping for $140+ a year... I'm not sure how long it will take to get to the bottom, but Amazon is on a downward trajectory, the good ol' days are behind us and people should probably look to support slightly less evil corporations moving forward.

Nothing beats having a physical Blu-ray/DVD to pull out whenever I want to, and not having to worry about some corporation like Disney, Sony, or Amazon removing it from my collection because of a f*ck up. I'll primarily stick to physical media and downloaded torrents via my Plex server. Digital subscriptions can kiss my @$$!

I contacted Amazon help. Clicked on Chat with an Associate (after dealing with the bot for a while).

I got all of yesterday's free movies reinstated. You should try that. A call may work, too.
How the hell do you even chat with them anymore? I've gone through every link and can't seem to find the option. I even tried to just google how to do it and it doesn't give a way
