AMAZING that they can revert everything - everywhere (I noticed being Moviews anywhere the movies were registered on my account) - just vanished after order cancellation.
It means - if it comes to - the digital asset lords can also make your other digital assets make vanish overnight! eye opener.
Amazon is losing its charm, not the same company we used to like anymore.
This episode proved it one more time.

I guess Amazon isn't already getting enough bad press after raising Prime so high, changing from two-day to "whenever," and then now forcing commercials into the video service. Never thought I'd consider dropping Prime but coming very close with each day.

I land more in the middle where, yeah this sucks, it's always cool to get cheap/free stuff especially from big soulless corporations, but to say I'm confident that any of my digital libraries will exist 40 years from now also feels like a stretch knowing the language that all these companies use for their digital purchases.
What isn't hyperbole, is that Amazon is a sinking ship, as a longtime user of Amazon Music, Prime Video, and the main site, I've seen the music app just get worse, and worse, and worse over the years (seriously how does a simple music app continue to take steps backwards after over a decade of development) and the "free" music included with prime vanish with the wind.
Customer service is also dust in the wind, they used to bend over backwards to make things right, and they were always located in the US so there wasn't a language/culture barrier, now you can barely get in touch with a human and the site likes to send you around in circles hoping you'll just give up.
Now they're charging to remove adds from their own content, I'm sorry, but what is Amazon Prime even for anymore? Slightly faster shipping for $140+ a year... I'm not sure how long it will take to get to the bottom, but Amazon is on a downward trajectory, the good ol' days are behind us and people should probably look to support slightly less evil corporations moving forward.

I got all of yesterday's free movies reinstated. You should try that. A call may work, too.
