TLDR: It should be really good for a windows machine non gaming.

Glad this is being noted in SD posts now.

If you look at all the reviews, it doesn't matter! Only the 4080 and 4090 gpu benefit from more wattage
People use their computers for things other than gaming. If you plan on working with large spread sheets, video editing, unoptimized apps, etc. 16gb is being stretched very thin these days.
Even with how cheap my work is, IT started giving a large amount of workers 32gb devices. It took years to get to that point.

Yeah, if you don't value the lightweight and battery life and bigger screen, the LG Gram will never appeal to you. It's definitely a polarizing product line.
I disagree strongly, but hey that's how it goes. Good luck.

I genuinely don't mean to come across as rude or beat a dead horse here. But for the sake of people researching this laptop, I just think it's important to clarify that these two laptops really aren't comparable. I recognize you said "depending on your use case", but I think it's fair to assume people interested in the Legion are wanting to game. If you look at the benchmarks, the 4060 gets nearly double the fps on the 3050.
The LG Gram would certainly be worth looking into for productivity, but again these are entirely different categories.
