I have at&t fiber 500 and it works great but just today i got an email saying they were increasing price by $5 starting june. My bill is $65 now so will be $70. Also says autopay or paperless billing will discount $5 and if you use your debit or bank account with autopay they'll discount $10. I've been an existing customer for years btw. Not sure if it'll be the same for everyone.
Me too. Except mine will go up to 85.98 after several years of service. Going to try a local provider/
FYI these cards I think, at least when I got mine, have a 6 month expiration date. Once it goes past the date, the money is lost. After all the pleading I did with AT&T, they finally gave me months of AT&T credit valued per card, but it was a lot of eqding
DAm signed up just yesterday over the phone and asked them about special offers/ cards and they said there was non available ! Install is set for Thursday !
Any advice??
Yeah ATT prices going up lowest price they offer is $55 which will be $60. I just noticed comcast launched prepaid now internet is offering 100Mbps $30 and 200Mbps $45 now includes free modem and unlimited data.
Comcast is garbage in my area. I did a test trial because they had an awesome price, I didn't disconnect my fiber because I was skeptical - within one week of owning xfinity I had multiple outages one lasting for hours - this is unacceptable for me since I wfh. Thankfully I had stayed reserved and kept my fiber connections thus not losing the discounts.
I have a credit monitoring service that picked up my ssn, full name, address, and phone number on the dark web leaked by AT&T.

70 million people were affected by the data breach but they didn't say how many with SSNs.
My brother's was also leaked so it must be a high number of SSNs leaked
I don't know if I believe you. Let me have your number so I can verify this for myself.
The internet service is great but AT&T's customer service makes it unusable. I signed up for a deal like this but it took them over a month and 4+ appointments before anyone came to bury the cable. After a dozen or so phone calls I was promised an additional gift card for the inconvenience but never got it. Everything at AT&T is in silos. You schedule the cable burial with 1 department but it's independent contractors who actually perform the burial, so whether they show up or not is up to them and they won't contact you since that's a different department. Customer service can submit an order for a gift card for your inconvenience, but the gift card processing team can cancel that order if they don't feel like fulfilling it. That's what happened to me, as the lady told me those gift cards hit her department's budget and she didn't want to take a hit just because customer service requested it. It was pretty obvious no customer could ever have a functional relationship with AT&T since they don't even have a functional relationship with themselves. So I canceled after the 1 month and was able to keep my ~$400 in gift cards. Maybe I'll do that again with this deal to finally get the additional gift card I was promised. That 1 month I had them was enough for them to leak my SSN on the dark web, so how much worse can they do now?
Your experience mirrors mine exactly, the customer service is worse than Walmart. I hate how they send out a sales person first before the technician, how a different technician that comes to your neighbor's house an hour later can accidentally disconnect you because they don't talk to each other, how they send out 3rd party utility contractors that can cut cables for the entire neighborhood, how sometimes it takes 3 separate technicians to close your ticket and you can never get to anyone who can explain what's going on and when the job will be completed. Unfortunately, they are the only major player in my area. But the reliability has been so bad and outages lasted so long on a few occasions that I thought about getting T-Mobile home Internet.
I really wish ATT would offer me fiber, I am still on Uverse internet. Around 3 years ago they layed fiber down my street but it was not for my neighborhood. They ran it across town to the ghetto. I guess it is subsidized for them.

I am wondering if they will see I had ATT U-verse before and not process the gift cards for me

by the way is HBO still included on 1GB or more?
At least in my area'their price is still the best. Sucks that it is going up. If 3 to 5 Gb is being offered, why is 1 Gb going up?
