We are supposed to leave Wednesday night to go to Oahu. Will be back on the next Friday.
My mom and dad are in St Cloud, FL for the winter. Dad had a stroke on Sunday and the prognosis is not good. (He is alot older than my mom...so it isn't a total shock that something has happened).
I have no idea if we should stick around in case he passes and I need to go back to KY for a funeral. Of if we go to HI and then I'm sorta stuck there until Friday and would then have to make further plans.
I'm usually a logical thinker, but can't make a decision today...any input?

To be honest, if he passes while you are gone, there likely won't be any funeral plans until you get back. Having a body shipped takes a bit of time and then to prepare a funeral as well.

I'd probably go to Hawaii. Like Arj said..IF he were to pass away...funerals take awhile.
One of the guys my husband works with for freelance is in his 70's (I think) and he just had a stroke a couple weeks ago. They didn't think he was going to make it for several days but now they think he's going to make a full recovery. I hope it's the same with your dad.
