We might be doing our living room this year. We've been living here for five years now with the same plain off white. Not looking forward to the actual work since the ceiling is about 12'.

Last time I went on a hike there was a visitor center at the top of the hill that was like a mini museum of that nature area. My friend and I looked through the stuffed birds. She saw one bird whose name looked like "Bullshit" at first, but on second glance it was actually "Bushtit". Roll She pointed it out and we couldn't stop laughing.

I know how you feel. We have cathedral ceilings. But we had most of the painting done before we moved in. hard to believe we have been here almost a year!

Just a tip (I work in the maintenance department and know a lot of painters). Go to Lowes or Home Depot and pick out the colors you like. Tape them to the walls and pick the ones you like from there. Then go to Wal-Mart and buy their brand of paint and color match it. It is MUCH cheaper and the exact same color. On interior paint it is perfect. (Exterior you need a better brand though).

The Walmart here has a slew of different paint stick thingies there, do they have something different at HD/Lowes?
