I noticed in-store at Walmart the Samsung Note5 and Samsung Galaxy s7 edge were marked down to $199, $399(update dropped to $199)respectively. I didn't buy any and did not think they were a great deal.
I saw 2 threads today with higher prices on these devices so I thought I would post.
Probably slim pickings but my favorite stores in CO, and South FL had a few so YMMV.
I am assuming no contract since reduced retail price.
Here are links to items on brickseek.

Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 5 N920V 32GB Black $199
http://brickseek.com/walmart-inve...=102946673

AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 5 N920A 32GB Black $199(Brickseek's description on this one says Verizon but UPC is from AT&T model)
http://brickseek.com/walmart-inve...=134190227

Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge G935V Black $399(update $199)
http://brickseek.com/walmart-inve...=178779831

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge G935A 32GB Black $399(update $199)
http://brickseek.com/walmart-inve...=106810943

Also I noticed that Note 5's didn't show in the walmart app but the S7 edges did. You have to search "At Your Store".
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

You may have to guide the associate to get this deal as it will ring up as not saleable on a regular register. They have to process through WARP Wireless Activation Retail Portal and it can be done as a outright purchase without contract by selecting device only, make sure to help them select this option ask if you can see the screen as they proceed, as many may not be aware but the electronics personnel should know. They need to enter as device only with upc, imei, iccid, and zip code. If they scan the iccid and meid tell them to remove the "a" and "e" that precedes the digits, they also need a zip code, upc along with Iccid and Meid all can be typed or scanned along with upc. This is through their special phone register that allows them to activate phones, this is a outright purchase no contract /plan required.
This will generate a WARP order printout with a Walmart POS barcode. Then they can scan that barcode on regular register to pay and complete sale.
Verizon already comes unlocked.

Att unlock use this link...https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/...Bs5B6qpf_A

AT&T unlocks these if you request the unlock before turning them on or plugging them in. Request the unlock as a non-AT&T customer. If someone says otherwise, they are lying.

I was able to unlock just fine. If you do not get an email with the unlock code after multiple submissions, just check the status, you will be surprised that the code is already there Smilie...

yeah, $199 for a brand new note 5 with a valid warranty is totally not worth it...

Note 5 for $200 straight up would be nice. I got one at launch still have it but have been using a Nexus 6 instead. The note is an excellent phone the screen is amazing the performance is great. They just got Nougat a few weeks ago. Only reason I switched to the Nexus was root and the .3 bigger screen. Hell note 3s are still going for like $140 used in decent shape and that phone is like 4 years old.

37 min to Walmart that has them. should I go?
How many does it show on brickseek?
If it's only one then it's not worth the drive.

Are these hanging on the shelves or do I need to ask someone as they are located under the counter?

How is the note 5 btw performance wise?

I'm also confused about how I would go about asking for one of these phones off contract.
