I don't think we'll be up in Addison, my coworker has been staying at the palomar kimpton just north of downtown and talked me into it. somehow they offer government rates, and they're in a decent neighborhood compared to anything closer to the TxDOT offices.
how about that F1 race, though?
I heard a lot of negative comments about Petrov, I'll be interested to see if that goes anywhere in the build up to the next race.
In my mind, this was some of the best of F1, it wasn't nuts like the first few faces, there was plenty of action with on track passes for the lead and strategy all playing parts, it was brilliant, IMO.

Did you notice towards the end there, can't remember which lap, it was Massa (I think, very tired right now) who had on the right front tire a yellow stripe on the inside and the left front tire didn't. The announcers never mentioned it. DH pointed it out to me. Might have been Alonso, not Massa.
it's been super, super hot today, my head hurts pretty good, not sure why. here's hoping I get a good night's sleep, at least
we had lunch at some frog something (in spanish) place east of downtown. it was pretty good, although they charged me for gaucamole that I never got
another coworker from Austin was in town (we saw him on the bridge, not expecting to see him), we had dinner with him at an all you can eat sushi place, Tokyo One in Addison. they've been there before, it was pretty good, I have to say
tomorrow will be less outside time, we're getting outside of downtown, so we won't need to walk around to check the ped accommodations, and they should be somewhat less complex projects in general. the person I'm traveling with has a meeting at 9am, I'm not really sure if I'm supposed to sit in on that or not
