Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Still trying to estimate the tax and fees

Chat agent 2

Me. Can you estimate the fee and taxes for the Verizon unlimited data promo

Sprint: I understand that your trying to know the estimate with the Verizon Plan. Please know that we do have the option to check for estimate on Sprint plans. May I know roe about the plan you are trying to check for?

Me: What?

Sprint: Please be advised that we don't have the visibility to see their plan from verizon.

Has anyone tried to combine this with the iPhone 7 14.99/mo deal at Best Buy?

Unlocked Nexus 5x not working even though it's on the list. I've used it on sprint, T-Mobile, and at&t mvnos with no issues. Most recently Tello. Not sure what the problem is. I called and the lady told me that my phone is not unlocked.

Anyone actually get this deal?
Not to kick sprint while they are down but since their network in certain areas is extremely slow already... adding a bunch of free people to the network will probably not help the situation.

Not the best carrier by any means. There's a reason why they are the fourth carrier now. Speeds are painfully slow if you're not in LTE. coverage is decent. For free you can't complain, but for any other reason, I would stay away. Mintsim is the best deal right now, individual, family plan, or otherwise. Can't be beat

Anyone have an estimated range of the total surcharge? I've been purchasing <10 H2O every month from eBay for the spare phone for half a year now. It'll be good to have a fixed number.

My guess is that Ultra/Mint is managed by T-Mobile, so it passes their wonky verification system. But I might just go into the store to avoid the shipping cost of the SIM, as others have mentioned. (I'm on Ultra)
Wait what? My Mint Sim phone # did *NOT* pass the verification system. Which is why I'm asking if anyone was able to switch from Mint Sim to this 1 year free deal.

Oh, my bad, I'm sorry (reading comprehension fail). I'm on Ultra Mobile and passed the verification system. I haven't done the deal, so there could be issues. Another reason going into the store might be a good idea for me, if I decided to take the offer.

I still don't know what the total cost will be after the monthly surcharge + taxes, though.

You need to get in contact with Sprint Tech Support and have them submit a ClickIt Ticket to move your phones IMEI from prepaid to branded Sprint. I had the same issue with a pixel and 5X.

I liked Ringplus's service a lot... but for whatever reason, the service I got on Tello was only slightly better than MintSIM (in my area, obviously)... and T-Mobile/MintSIM is garbage here for anything streaming.

If Sprint was better here, I'd probably go out to one of those 3 carrier stores, sign up, then switch to Sprint immediately... lol
Did you make sure that T-Mobile's Binge On wasn't accidentally turned on? Cause that could'be why your video streaming was of poor quality.(480p) Cause I'm getting around 100Mbps download speeds with T-Mobile & my 3-line family plan is on the T-Mobile One plan for $140 taxes & fees included. Then I pay $5 a month extra for T-Mobile One Plus on my line, which gives me 10GB LTE mobile hotspot/unlimited 3G/HSPA+ & unlimited high quality(Quad-HD+) video streaming.

Same here! Mint & Nexus 6! High-five!

Is this really the case that pre-paid is out of luck? Or is there a chance that if you walk into the store it might work? Has anyone tried?
The signs of a slickdealer. lol

Just curious, were you on Ringplus (or any other Sprint MVNO) before? I'm wondering if maybe my Nexus 6 being on Ringplus might be the issue and not being on a T-Mobile MVNO.
