I tried calling Sprint. Explained what you suggested @FatSmurf... was on hold for probably 20minutes, then was transferred to "Customer Care"... which was probably someone in the Philippines. They basically said they're postpaid support, and so they can't help me since I don't have an account.

The phone I'm trying to switch over is a Verizon iPhone 5S (unlocked), and is currently on one month of Verizon prepaid service.

Should I call again? I tried asking for tech support, I think, but it didn't seem to help.

Wondering if I should just buy $30-50 of service from AT&T, and port out from there for simplicity

Well this offer end the end of the month, T Mobile is not going to pay you cash when you port the number., it takes at least 1 or 2 statement cycle.. we really have a lot of BRILLIANT MIND here in SD LMAO
