Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

takes 15 days to get paid by tmobile Mr. "brilliant mind". I suggest not posting if you are going to post wrong info or you are just ignorant...
Limited time offer; subject to change. Qualifying device, credit & service, Verizon port-in, and PDP Plus required. Device balance (incl. lease purchase option) paid by virtual Prepaid MasterCard® Card (expires in 12 months) typically w/in 15 days.
Last year I was on S7 BOGO. The rebate suppose to come 4-6 weeks and it took 8 weeks, so good luck on getting this whole thing in 15 days. yep if it all happen in 15 days you still have 1 day spare

Typically I dont like to ask stranger take risk like this, but if all the "brilliant mind" here in SD think it is a good idea go ahead, anyway it's not any of my money if it doesn't work. shake head

did anyone get 'Your purchase attempt has been declined. Try a different payment method to complete your purchase.'

I got approved by credit check, but no matter how many credit card I tried, it never let me finish order
I had the same issue. I tried 2 different phones and numbers.I couldn't complete the transaction. The order never went through. I was told to call the customer support, but looks like the CS is useless. They had no idea of the promotion and tried to sign me up for the regular service. i just gave up. I am happy with my T-Mobile service.

Is there a credit check involved with this madness?
Yes, there is. Sadly, makes it a no go for myself.

From Spring website:
You're qualified to switch to Sprint and get free unlimited service! To set up your account, we still need to run your credit - a policy for all our customers.
Out of curiosity, is a credit check that bad for someone to avoid free service for a year? Does anyone know if it's a soft or hard hit? Might not affect credit score in the end.

Too bad Sprint has HORRENDOUS coverage. I live in NOVA - 30 minutes outside of DC. Population 1.4million on a workday. You would expect the coverage to be comparable to AT&T and Verizon. It's not. Not even close. We constantly drop calls like its 2007. The internet is slow, that is when you actually have internet service.

We had Verizon Wireless before we got suckered into a Sprint deal. Their coverage was great. Our work issued phones are AT&T, coverage is great as well.

Oh yeah and you can't use data WHILE in a phone call. You wouldn't think that would be a big deal but I can't tell you how many times I'm talking with the hubs and I go to google a number/address to give him or look up an email... or anything internet based and it says no sista. No internet for you mid-call!

Don't do it... no matter how good the deal is. Funny enough every month we joke that we are one month closer to ending our two year contract (for the record we are really looking forward to May 2018)!LMAO

Any way to get this to work with a Sprint MVNO?? I suppose not.

What would be the cheapest way to get this deal if I don't have AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile?
Buy a H20 sim card and activate it? Does it require a port-in?

Thanks for the answers, will rep!

Is it really working? I have completed online form. But didn't receive any confirmation email.
I have no idea how you even completed the process. Only option I see is the Sprint AA credit page which has this option "Already a Sprint Customer?", nothing else seems to apply. Crappy 5K AA miles aren't going to get me nuttin!

thanks OP. my iPhone 6 from freedompop that is now on speedmobile talk's $3.99 plan got approved. I preferred paying $10 extra and avoid a trip and convince staff at a store:

Congratulations, you're on your way to big savings!
We'll ship your SIM card(s) overnight so that you can get going as soon as possible. If you ordered by 2 p.m. ET Mon-Fri, you'll get it the next business day.
There's one more step before you get your 1 year of FREE unlimited!
When you get your SIM card(s), go to www.sprint.com/activatenow to activate them, switch your number to Sprint and start enjoying your FREE 1-year of unlimited service.

So it seems that your number is not ported into Sprint until you activate upon receiving the SIM card?

Does this mean that I can order this and keep my current T-Mobile service active until I port over to Sprint? Or does the port process start as soon as you place the order?
