Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Glad Sprint is doing this, it should lower prices across the board. I'm on Verizon but I hate the pricing. It really is a blatant rip off.

Pretty amazing deal if you have good Sprint coverage. It's almost like Ringplus returns and you wonder if the outcome will be the same.

Probably trying to bump up their subscriber numbers before attempting to sell off the company... it does sounds familiar! Grin

can i 'check eligibility' on one type of phone, have it pass, then put the sim in a second different unlisted type of phone for service?

Where can I get more info? I also have an window PC phone.. and how do u find out if u get service and signal where I live?
Boost is owned by Sprint so it wouldn't apply. (But switching from Boost to Sprint will improve overall performance and coverage). Metro is T-Mobile, but I don't know eligibility. YMMV on the Windows phones, they're usually 'hard-programmed' to specific bands. Check the FAQs tor more info.

I'd be curious to know if anyone that's ported out of Sprint recently with an unlocked phone shows up as eligible using the online checker with the same unlocked Sprint phone and Sprint phone number.

You need to get in contact with Sprint Tech Support and have them submit a ClickIt Ticket to move your phones IMEI from prepaid to branded Sprint. I had the same issue with a pixel and 5X.
I too have the 5x (bought straight out from Google). This deal is great. The fact that I have to call them and have them fix and error when I'm not even a customer yet sits very heavily on me for some reason.

Would current Sprint customers be able to port out to Verizon and then back into Sprint to get this offer, assuming the new account uses a different SSN than the old account? I'm mostly worried that they'll block the port in of the old Sprint phone number.

If anyone is a sprint customer already, I would love to use your help please. PM me and I can gladly you pay you $30-$40 via PayPal family/friends. I can give you more details but I don't have a sprint account and it'll take ~20 minutes of your time to speak with customer service. Thanks so much!
I am currently a Sprint SERO customer with an iPhone 6, not under contract. I plan on porting this Sprint number as well as another Tello number (formerly RingPlus) to MetroPCS. I will be participating in MetroPCS' port 2 numbers and get two free Samsung Galaxy J3 Primes. I will have to pay for the tax on those devices, (which I don't mind). I will be signing up for MetroPCS' 2 lines for $50 with 2GB of data each.

I will then be porting both of my new MetroPCS lines to this Sprint BYOD promo. I am hoping that me porting out of Sprint would qualify my numbers to be eligible for this promo. Hopefully I will be able to use my iPhone 6 with the same SIM in it again. If not, I will be buying 2 unlocked Lenovo Moto G4 Pluses for $200 from B&H.

Please keep us updated on how this goes for you. I'm currently a SERO customer contemplating porting out and back in to get this deal.

Thanks and repped!

Thank you. I have been meaning to leave Sprint for a long time. I'm tired of going out into the world and not having reception when all of my friends do. This seems like the right opportunity to bite. $50 a month for unlimited Sprint data isn't worth it. But if all I'm paying is taxes, then that makes it a bit more tolerable.

Agreed. I've been sticking with SERO because of the unlimited with subsidized phones. Now that the subsidies are gone there's very little reason to stay.

Just question, Why sprint site is always under maintenance? I was with sprint last 8 years and 50% of the time their site is under maintenance especially night time. You will not see that on T-mobile Verizon or att.

Communication is a basic right anyway, this should have been paid for by tax dollars all along.
