Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Anyone have any luck getting anything from T-Mobile retentions mentioning you were going to go to this deal?
Lol T-Mobile really doesn't need anymore customers right now.

Galaxy S7. For those wondering about the special edition. I wanted to let you know that I did a Sprint check on my S7 unlocked (version U), currently on Republic Wireless and serving as my backup phone, I bought as refurbished from Best Buy back in September. The phone and RW number were marked as compatible, did not move forward with the order yet, as I need to transfer the whole at&t family plan and owe $500 on one iphone, free by back credits. This is very YMMV.

It is an online-only deal.
Can I walk into a Sprint store or maybe Best Buy and purchase a Sprint SIM card kit or 2, and activate online?

You can try. It may work. However, according to Sprint, it requires purchasing a $2.99 SIM card and $10 overnight shipping from their term.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but trying to read through this many posts is near impossible... can this be done in store and still get the same deal but save postage on SIM card and get it done today?
I was told that if you have your own sim (or buy one), you can call their telesales dept to have them help you sign up for this deal.

This is probably the best Slickdeal I've ever gotten. I'm paying $66 a month now with Verizon's 2GB Loyalty plan. I suspect after fees/taxes, I'll save $60 a month AND get unlimited everything and 10GB of mobile hotspot (which will be awesome watching Netflix, Plex videos and streaming music with my 7" Android car radio on the road... for passengers, I mean).

Even with whatever ETF I'll have to pay to Verizon, it's a no-brainer! I'll save $720 by the time they start charging me. Thats not hypothetical. That's money I was guaranteed to spend on cell service for another year.

That money will go straight to my credit card bill. Now, instead of paying a Verizon bill every month, I'll just put $60 more on my credit card bill. Sprint is actually helping me pay off my credit card. Crazy.

I had Sprint a few years ago (apparently you're a "new" customer if your previous account has been closed a certain length of time) and remember the service being really good in my area. Even better than AT&T.
It may be risky now, but if you had acted a bit early, you could have used TMO's get-out-of-the-red to have them payyour ETF from Verizon, then you could switch to this promo... You may still be able to do it if you do this in store (probably goes quicker). Pre-order the promo sims from Sprint, wait for TMO to mail out the gift card payment, then switch, maybe.

All nexus phones are supposed to be compatible so there must be some fine print catches.
I was on project fi and switched to TMobile... I wonder if the fact it was on fi is why it's saying my 6p and pixel are ineligible

My sim card was shipped this morning. I ordered yesterday afternoon. Although I have unused Sprint BYOD sim cards, I was told I have to order it to get this deal.

Agreed. I've been sticking with SERO because of the unlimited with subsidized phones. Now that the subsidies are gone there's very little reason to stay.
I'm on SERO as well. What do you mean the subsidies went away? so when my 2 yr is up I won't be able to get a discount again to re-up for another 2 yrs? Did they send something out about this?

Ya no more 2 year contracts. They had them, then got rid of them, then got them back and now they got rid of them again. I'm also on SERO, but if I gotta pay full price for a new phone next year I may jump ship. Been with sprint for 16+ years.

Has anyone figured out the approximate fees/surcharges/taxes per month that will need to be paid? And is it the same cost per line or are some of the fees per account?

Just trying to get a ballpark amount -- will it be $3/line, $5/line, $10/line or more in just these fees?

Basically, how much will the out of pocket $ really be?
