Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Activation is waived, but I believe its given back as a bill credit.
that could maybe push me over the edge and get me to do the deal. Just waiting to find out if anyone was able to port from TPO or any other low cost non Sprint MVNO.

Two lines

Just got off with Sprint CHAT.
Estimated $15 a month for Sprint Surcharges and fees
Estimated $16.50 taxes and additional fees. (they figure taxes on the undiscounted monthly amount...$60 + $40 for 2nd line and then tack on some other things that are not REALLY taxes)

So it goes from Free to $31.50 before any other bogus charges per month. Versus my current $20+$15 for two lines on FI +$10/GB. No additional charge international roaming, and free data-only sims. Currently FI still fits me better. but YMMV of course.
Chat rep told me $0 in taxes/fees since there isn't any bill

Yes, that's a very good plan. I didn't even know you can Unlock sprint iphone with VZW SIM during initial activation.

Am i missing something. I thought you cant get a new phone using new Sprint account once you port in from other carrier before Oct 2017, otherwise you loose the free plan option.

I was wondering if you guys can suggest a phone that works, that we could buy today for under 50 dollars, that is on sale someplace?

I have text now number, but the phones I have currently don't seem to work.

Maybe list the phones in the second post in this thread .... the WIKI part so others can benefit too.

We are at 60 pages , and I was looking through thread and lots of people tried their phones and it didn't work.

Thanks in advance. Would be nice if we could go to walmart/best buy and pick it up today, but I'm sure we want to pick up one that works. Smilie

All the iPhone 6 A1549 have CDMA radios, it was just the att and tmobile versions we're not allowed/supported by Sprint at the time. If I'm wrong I'm wrong but they support CDMA now.
It is still missing band 41.
Check on tello checker.
https://tello.com/bring_your_own_phone
You sure you're not confusing 6 with 6S? I checked the apple hardware tech specs and it seems 6 has two versions under same A1549 model, one supports only GSM the other one sold on Verizon does both (so verizon, sprint (unlocked), and bought directly at apple store should support both) the ones bought from tmobile or att only have GSM and it's hardware limitation not software/firmware.
The only way to know for sure is by looking up exact model number in settings and look up from which provider it came from originally. Unlocked ones will accept SIM card it just won't have service if there's no radio for the CDMA cell towers.

FYI I can pretty much guarantee you will have an issue activating your phone. If you're on Fi, you will need to have Sprint submit a ClickIt Ticket to move your IMEI back to postpaid service from prepaid.
I'm on Fi and ordered a SIM from a telesales rep, and she's due to call back tomorrow evening... I'm assuming I'm going to have some issues with this as well. Any other feedback from someone doing the same is welcome. Obviously my IMEI and phone came back as 'Phone not compatible', which it obviously is (Pixel XL), just probably because it's registered on Sprint currently.

I asked on the Project Fi end and they're not able to un-register the IMEI from the Sprint portion of the FI service alone, so I guess I will just get the port info tomorrow and see how that ends up going with the info you've provided.

To especially those who have already successfully activated on this deal: can the phone you used to first sign-up be different than what you ultimately activated the Sprint SIM card on?

I want to move away from T-Mobile. My Nexus 6 active on T-Mobile is "not eligible" per Sprint eligibility page despite listed among the eligible devices. Sprint CS (online chat) said that the phone is not eligible because it was not purchased from T-Mobile.

Now, I have a Pixel XL active on Verizon, which is "eligible" when supplied with my T-Mobile phone number on the Sprint eligibility page.

So, I'm thinking that I could place the order on this deal using the T-Mobile phone number but with Verizon Pixel phone IMEI. Since Verizon Pixel comes naturally unlocked, I'll activate the Sprint SIM with it, then move the SIM to my Nexus 6.

Would that work?
I think its good idea but it may not work as they are taking upfront the IMEI# and the phone#, possibility is that they may restrict using only that SIM work on that IMEI phone other wise, existing SIM cards could have work for this promotion.
My guess is that if you replace the phone later for any reason like broken/stolen then they may charge activation on new eligible phone, some reference on the FAQ section 4th from the bottom

You can use your Sprint SIM card with your Pixel but not Nexus 6. You can use your Nexus 6 with your Verizon SIM card.

I doubt you'll find new postpaid phone that's also unlocked at that price range. I tried used Verizon's 5C and 5S I had and they went through, but if you buy prepaid versions which are cheaper good luck since they won't go through most likely.

Yeah I had $740 left on my iphone 7 from verizon and did the getoutofthered promo with Tmobile 2 weeks ago. I still haven't received my gift card yet from Tmobile and my verizon $800 bill is already due in one week but I was semi tempted to move this right over to sprint for the free year......I just don't think I can do it. I hate running my credit and it was done twice in the last month. Going to sprint would do it again and when I realize it blows, going back to verizon or Tmobile will run it again.
tell us when you get the card

I was able to successfully order the sim, just don't copy/paste instead type the IMEI manually and also once you fill in all the details look for the button at the very bottom to proceed to next step as the "offer sign up" button confused me twice...
FYI- using my iphone 7 from verizon but currently on Cricket plan.
