After you have service for 1-2 days port out to sprint. You've then satisfied the terms of porting in from postpaid carrier and will be eligible for the promotion.

You'd need to buy the regular non-Consumer Cellular unlocked model or the Amazon model w/ ads if you have Prime; those are made to work on Sprint (and Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, etc). If you still can, return the Consumer Cellular model to Target. Just picked up an incompatible model model is all. People have reported not being able to use that one on anything but Consumer.
