For Sprint, I really don't know for sure cuz I don't have one to test but I'm semi-confident it can't based on results in an old deal https://slickdeals.net/f/9458395-consumer-cellular-moto-g4-play-xt1607-unlocked-version-target-85-tax-ac-or-80-tax-ac-target-red-card?v=1&p=9301
There are more comments before and after that one about what it did/didn't work with. Maybe go in the store and run the IMEI through Ting compatibility check and see if it passes for CDMA.
Their data is dope though. They don't bottleneck like other companies. And you can pretty much do whatever the fark you want with it. They legitimately don't care. Other than the mobile hotspot, which they'll charge you for.

What is a good cheap bare bones service to get?
What a worthless post.
Lmao, so sprint has their people here or what? Check the contract it's stated there. Only 10 gb is free. Also there are other forums it still costs to get a free mobile hot spot.
Nice try on the discredit clown. Tell sprint to get better reps.

If you're referring to a separate mobile hotspot device, then of course it costs money for the device and its service.
If you're referring to tethering, using the 10GB of hotspot usage on smartphone device, that's included.
get $50 referral using my referral.
Get $150 by referring her husband's line.
Get another $150 by referring her daughter's line.
If anyone has done something like this, I'd love to hear their experience.
If she has credit union, can get another $50 per line for port in.

2. You have no idea what you're talking about with mobile technologies. Cause you're wrong on so many levels.
I already stated 10gb was free with this plan but you're getting charged after. You keep avoiding that point.
Do you even know the difference between tethering and hotspot? Because it's clear that you don't and you're pulling words out your ass cause it sound techy to people that buy your stuff and don't know. Can you answer it without going to YouTube or google?
Ps why would I be talking about a separate mobile device, when I'm talking about phones?

Even if Sprint has done you wrong in the past, you shouldn't spread false info about the deal this time. Warning about their customer service is fine but this deal is solid, especially for people who live in decent Sprint areas.

Actually before you and anyone else sign up check with other users. Because I know mine isn't free and a bunch of other people isn't free. Trust me I know and I'm not going to go into detail about it due to that sprint rep, you and whoever else is on here for whatever company benefit.
And yes he is wrong. And now you're wrong also. Look it up. It's called tethering for a reason and it's not just because of the USB cord. Just cause the terminology gets whored out doesn't mean it's right. Like "hack", etc etc
I'm just trying to warn people on here. But I forgot how people on here roll. They kind of deserve it. There's pages dedicated to the screwjobs people have gotten from sprint. So don't act like I'm the only person on this.
