Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Your number hasn't been released from Mint yet.
Are you sure? If it's only a number change, I should still be able to make and receive calls using the number assigned by Sprint. There's no service on my phone now. No voice, no data..

If I bought a used Moto G Plus Amazon edition, would I have an issue if it had been previously connected to a carrier?

Yup. Just received another email that said my order went through... again. I ordered yesterday at 8:15am. The 2nd email today said I ordered today. They must be so slammed and they weren't at all ready for this.

Something else strange too... my credit card was charged yesterday, then credited back, then charged this morning for 5cents less at 3am.
Same thing happened to me but was 8 cents lower than the first time. I got an email to call Sprint to ok this change.

It seems that even if your phone is not eligible for this deal, you can still trade it in and get a new one from Sprint.

Reporting back after activation:
I placed an order on Tuesday evening and received the SIM card Thursday afternoon. Was able to activate the line online.

A rep called and asked if it was a good time for them to port in the number. I was on the phone for 90 mins with a few different reps when they realized I was porting from MintSIM, not a post-paid carrier. Finally a rep authorized it and said I would get the promo even when I'm switching from Mint.

Now I just need to make sure I get service on my iPhone 6. It's the unlocked version from the Apple Store, but I keep getting "no service" even after a reboot. Anyone has any idea why this is working?
why did they call you? porting is not online?

It says nothing about still qualifying for free data - just that your phone isn't worthless... but who knows.

My Story:

I followed below steps:

1. Get a Free Sprint SIM from Apple Store
2. Called Sales Rep and requested him to open a new account
3. I mentioned that I will be porting from T-Mobile (I had T-Mobile MVNO - Prepaid Service)
4. With in 30 mins, Sales Rep was able to set up my account, waive activation fees, set-up auto-pay and complete port-in.

Now Planning to port other lines from my family.

Do we need a lawyer here? From the video, he obviously meant you could trade in your old device and get a new one from Sprint, still eligible for the promotion.

Turns out my Sprint SIM from my Note 5 won't work with the Galaxy S8.

Was told by customer service that the Galaxy S8 needed a special SIM.

Whatever. Made me pay $12.98 for shipping and said SIM was free. Even though it's $10 shipping and $2.95 for SIM online.

Yes. Your phone's ownership flag needs to be changed from PLBL to SPCS, and this can only be done by Sprint or an MVNO. PM me on Reddit (can't reply here due to SlickDeals new account requirements) and I'll see if I can change it for you. Same username.
