I ordered the SIM card on Wednesday, received it on Friday afternoon and number was ported from Google Voice on Monday night.

It is a long process but it worked

How many lines you ported? Gvoice didn't work for me because I was porting 5 linesSmilie

It is very YMMV. I live near a Sprint corporate store and reps didn't know about this deal and for buying BYOD SIM Kit, they wanted 10$ from me. Your store might be different and maybe your store manager taught the reps about this deal. If you can get compatible SIM from somewhere though, maybe Apple store, Best Buy or something ... TeleRep on phone will activate it that SIM when calling for credit check/order at start.

I had an old Sprint SIM for iPhone 5 from Ringplus, I told him SIM number on Phone and they said sorry it is not compatible. Mine was Sprint Nano 53.03b SIM Card

Deal is not available at the store, but you can buy the SIM card at the Sprint store or any other store that sells Sprint SIM (if you don't already have one) to save $10 shipping fee and call Sprint from the store to get the deal or call from home.
