Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Want to get a couple of lines for my kids, they don't have phone numbers now. I have 2 Moto G4 Play's on VZW Prepaid that they use as tablets and have never been activated. I also have a couple of older LG LS620's on Boost Mobile that were used the same way and never activated. Don't believe any of these will work on Sprint.

That being said I'm willing to get a couple of unlocked phones but need advice on getting them an initial phone/phone number some how that can be ported, quickly before this ends. I guess I could activate and pay a first month on VZW prepaid for their Moto G4's.

Could I just buy burners somewhere, do they port? Hate to activate 2 Verizon prepaid accounts just to port out at $40 each (do prepaid accounts even work with this Sprint deal?)

My head is spinning. Please help

Edited to add, my wife is currently on Sprint. Can you add lines to existing an qualify? Or should I stay away from her account and open them up under my name as a totally new customer?

I am a newbie to this stuff so bear with me.

I have a moto x pure (on the eligible list) with Straight Talk and did this deal last week and successfully ported over. I am now up on running on the Sprint free for a yr plan.

My husband has a moto x pure also on Straight Talk but hates Sprint and won't do this deal at all even for free. However, we have a 3 phone for my babysitter. It's running on Boost (Sprint) and is not on the eligible list.

So can I reuse my old Straight Talk SIM, activate it on another old Straight Talk phone, then stick the Sprint SIM in hubbys phone and port to new # from the old Straight Talk ph to Sprint in the Moto x and take that active SIM and stick it in the Boost Mobile ph?

If not any suggestions for me being able to get this deal w/o buying a new ph?

You can get a sim from places like Best Buy for $5 or Apple Store for free. The point of this deal is to get it online because they don't have to pay out commissions.
I already have Sprint SIM (was for R+),
I am think how to make this deal happen .
$10 shipping cost is very sick

The Verizon prepaid version of the Moto Play won't work on Sprint, they are Verizon only. Cheapest phone you can get is the $99 unlocked Moto Play from Best Buy or Amazon. You will need to bring a phone number from somewhere to qualify.

I'd keep the account separate for the 1-year deal, then combine later or port somewhere else.

You did the right thing but Good Luck because I PM'd him with a Nexus 6 that was previously on RingPlus with no response... waited about a week then tried again with no response. He is not getting paid to help but since he explicitly asked to be PM'd for a resolution here and Reddit then it is surprising/annoying to not respond at all.

thanks for your offer.. but my question is not "whether my phone is eligible"

my question was "I don't have iPhone (i know its eligible) right now wit me.. so can i get this plan with that iPhone temporarily (assuming we need just imei) and can i activate the account like that and later change it to a different phone?"

Yeah, I get that, didn't expect to be able to use the devices. Trying to find the straightest path to get active numbers that I can port

Is there a workaround for call/web surfing while on Sprint Network? there's got to be something.....
Not really other than being on WiFi at the same time. It seems that they have developed some quasi solution for this, presently only supported on one device which is not on the list of 'approved' phones for this promotion:

https://community.sprint.com/t5/Buzz-About-Wireless/Make-calls-and-use-data-at-the-same-time-with-Sp... [sprint.com]

Depending on the phone you bring, it may support WiFi calling:
