1. Checked the eligibility on Sprint website with my Tello phone number and iphone 6. Says ineligible.
2. Ported out from Tello to TPO. They offers free sims. I was already having one lying around. Activated on $5.60 per month plan. With taxes came around $6.58. Port completed in 10 minutes. Did that on 6/19 eveving.
3. Checked the eligibility on Sprint website again with my TPO phone number and iphone 6. Says eligible.
4. Called TPO to get account number and PIN for port out. They were closed(they closes at 7:00 PM EST). Called again 6/20 morning after 9:00 AM and got account number and pin from them.
5. Called sprint and asked them to setup the account. Gave them TPO account number and pin for porting. Call took around 30 minutes for account setup. Got email almost instantly that account is active.
6. It took another 10 minutes for porting to get complete from TPO.
7. Did carrier reset and re-activated services on iphone.
All good now. Call, Text & Data working fine.
Hope this will help someone.
Also I did advise the poster I was responding to that they did the right thing to try the PM route even if it didn't work for me.
Haven't gotten my first bill yet, but the emails from Sprint all state "You've made a great choice with the Unlimited–Bring Your Phone Plan. We're giving you 1 year of free service (Unlimited Talk, Text and Data) thru 7/31/18, waiving your activation fee..." so I guess I'm all set!
I will say that it's starting to look like I'm getting what I'm paying for... my cell phone keeps dying searching for a signal at work and at home. Sprint's coverage map shows my community as LTE, but the moment I go in doors my coverage switches to roaming. So, if you're looking for even decent coverage, maybe look elsewhere.

i think it is x1, 5,5,1
that will get u to highest depratment in sprint (retentions or account services they are called0
explain the situation.
they may be able to tranfer the line to your free account
best of luck
report back what happens
What I'm thinking is either the rep who setup your second line screwed up or it's a display issue(showing $65 but will have a $60 credit + $5 autopay credit).
I hope the latter.
i am not sure
Edited to add, Cricket has a couple of $.99 phones that I could get the lines established on and next day shipping. Can you port from Crickett on this deal? I know the phones wouldn't work. Can you port out that fast?

Only thing - my icon reads LTE, but speeds are incredibly slow. Anywhere from 1.5 Mb/s - 5.5 Mb/s down and 0.5 Mb/s - 1.3 Mb/s up. Getting two to three "bars" though I live maybe a four to five minute drive from the nearest Sprint tower and coverage map shows best service available. Also know folks who use Sprint and have never reported data that slow in this immediate area.
Checked APN/Profiles, did the ##UPDATE# method, did the "Reset Network Settings" option under Settings -> General, applied the carrier update prompt... all to no avail. Voice, SMS, MMS and data all working... just not pulling down LTE speeds.
Would anyone know if there's anything else at all I may have overlooked before I plug this thing into iTunes and take the full wipe plunge? I won't be restoring from a backup, going to start over with a clean install. I've had to do this on a Verizon 5s once when I switched it between two carriers and that fixed it... just hoping to avoid the extra setup time trying to see if that fixes the LTE signal. Thanks in advance!
