Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I just found out why my phone was ineligible.

Like many of you, I was with Ringplus in the past ported to Ting earlier this year. My phone initially showed up as ineligible even though it was no longer was tied to any active Sprint or Sprint MVNO (like ting) service. If you were in a similar situation try this:

Log in to your old ting account that involved the phone.
Go to "Device settings" on the left menu, and wait for it to load.
Make sure your phone is not listed in the "active" table
Delete all devices in the "inactive" table
Check on sprint's website in 5 min

My previous phone was listed as an inactive device (likely placed there after I ported out the number). Once I deleted it, it showed up as eligible within a few minutes.

Hope this helps some of you! thanks OP for this deal!

I just added 2 more lines by calling. Ported 1 line from Freedompop and 1 line from RingTo. Still waiting for the transfer.
Could you do online again or calling is the only way?

Did you call Sprint to activate the SIM card?
if you order multiple sim in one order, only 1 shipping charge apply. I tried to use website but can not pass credit check., so I called, the rep give me sim for free, so I paid $10 shipping + tax on sim, 4xsim total $14. I ported one line from Verizon, one from ring.to, one from freedom pop. Now I am stuck with my Samsung s8 plus that I got from Samsung insight program. it is not eligibles, so I am stuck with Verizon.

Just signed up for this offer. Whole process took 30 mins,

Had an unlocked iPhone 7 that showed eligible for promotion. Called 866 number and the rep knew exactly what the offer is. She waived the activation fee and I had free sprint sims lying from previous deal. I provided my account number and PIN from ULTRA mobile. When she processed the order for activation the number was ported in few secs and my iPhone 7 is now activated with my number on sprint.

I confirmed by logging into online account and it shows as Free 1 year BYOD plan, free with $5 auto pay discount till 7/31/18. So far all looks good.

Sprint referral program WORKS! If you are going to be porting over a bunch of lines, make sure you all add each other as referrals so you can get a $100 or $50 VISA gift card.

Please let me know how things go with porting to sprint. Were you easily able to get your account number and pin from PT?
account number is your login, pin is 0000

make sure the name matches. I had an issue with the port because the name didn't match, once I corrected, it worked.

This took me a while to figure out after I used up all my Ting credit and wanted to switch to Tello. You gotta delete the device info from all other MVNOs or swap with another device to free it up to use with another provider.

Sprint sim cards:

When I joined R+, I had two iphones and an android. It was really important to buy the right iphone/android sim card in the corresponding phone to get service working correctly. This time around, I used the same sim card that I already had in the phone from when I used it with R+ -> Ting -> Tello. So maybe people having issues with non-working sim cards are bc they got the wrong version of the sim card?

I ported my GV number via phone, but it took 3 days. I just said it was a T-Mo number and BS'd the pin (GV pin wasn't set up yet).

My plan is set up and working perfectly, except that I declined device protection while on the phone but it still got added to my account. I think they couldn't take it off while I was on the phone with them because the line hadn't been activated yet. Anyway, I did a quick chat online and they were able to take it off. So you should double check on the device protection fee!

is the login my email address maybe? That would be an unusual account number to port.

I'm going into the T-mobile store tomorrow to pick up my sims and probably get the phones working while in store so I'll be getting a new account. I understand Sprint wants your account number and a possible PIN to port. Want to make sure I get everything I need in hand as I leave so I don't have to call back in to try and get this info. Can anyone verify that's what I'll need? I've also seen some that say the account number you use day to day isn't the same as the one that'd needed for porting.

how long have you had your PT account?

my login is my account number and you should have an email with the account number, at least I did when I signed up for the $3 promo a few weeks ago.
