Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You have to flash the S7 to unlocked or Sprint firmware. Ask Sprint to add the IMEI into their database; tell them it's a US unlocked S7 and don't say a word about Verizon or flashing. If the Sprint rep refuses to add the phone because the IMEI shows as a Verizon device, hang up and try again with another rep. They can add any IMEI to the database. The phone will activate just fine after it's added to the Sprint database as long as you flash it to unlocked or Sprint firmware (i.e., it has to have XAA or SPR CSC on the phone) and use a Sprint SIM. Good luck.
I think I have the same problem with the D820 Nexus 5. Frown Talk about First world problems.

Who do you call to have third party unlocked boost iPhone SE that doesn't pass FED to add to database? Current sprint customer. I've chatted previously and they told me to go to store to check device.
Sprint prepaid (Boost, Virgin) is never allowed on postpaid and there is no way around it. After paying prepaid for a year you can unlock it for something else but that's it. These phones are already in the Sprint whitelist and coded as prepaid, there is nothing to add as this is not true BYOD

is phone tagged to sprint eligible under this offer?
i thought it has to be bring your device from verizon or non-sprint providers...isn't it
That's the original intent of the promo but you can use any free and clear device that has Sprint radios as long as the Sprint rep is willing to add its IMEI to the Sprint database.

Does anyone see an issue with signing up with a dummy meid (from an iPhone 6) and a legit phone number to get in on the deal and then NOT activating it and later on switching it to another Sprint compatible device? I want to add another free line but don't yet have a legit device.
Not sure if you have to activate the device by June 30th, but yes, you can use dummy IMEI and call to switch the IMEI later (i.e., pair the SIM ICCID with a new IMEI).

I think you have two problems here. First is to clear the FED and second is to remove the prepaid/MVNO flag. I have not done "cleaning" FED, but a few people on the iPhone SE threads said there are a few "cleaners" available at eBay for a fee, I have done removing the prepaid/MVNO flag by paying someone at a phone repair shop that has access to the Sprint database and the Apple GSX database. Basically, chatting with Sprint rep can't fix both problems.

The N5 (D820) works on Sprint. Make sure the IMEI is free and clear, and is not active on any carrier or associated (even if it's inactive) with a Sprint account. If it's previously active on a Sprint account, it's most likely still associated with that Sprint account even if it has been deactivated. Keep trying until you get a rep who is wiling to add its IMEI if it's free and clear.

Are you ordering new SIM from Sprint or using your own Sprint SIM?
I ordered the sims by calling the 8777 number. Got them Monday, activated today, and my plan is showing $45/2GB. There is one post on the wiki that says it's a web only order. But I posted a photocopy of the paperwork that was sent with the sims saying to call the number if you initiated over the phone. You can see the photocopy on then non-mobile Slickdeals site.

I am wondering if other people who activated over the phone eventually got their plans switched to the right one and how long it took? I Or am I SOL for trying in the first place? The rep said the plan would change and I had to get the device protection that could be removed online at any time. I did remove device protection but I'm still waiting for the FREE plan switch the rep promised. The terms and conditions she read were for the FREE plan.

If you are ordering SIM from Sprint, you should activate it online to avoid mistake. Sprint reps make mistakes all the time. The plan should set up as free BYOD plan and not $45/2GB or any other plan. It's going to take some time for them to fix it since they set it up wrong. If they can't fix it within 48 hours, I would cancel it and start over.

I think the store employee just did the BYOD IMEI (i.e., checking instead of adding). They have to log into the database to add it or submit ClickIT ticket if not corporate store.

How do you activate online if you ordered by phone? When I tried, it wouldn't let me. I've never had Sprint before so I had not email attached to the order or anything.
