Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I tried going the cancel re-port route, but ended up with the same problem on wrong plan on new order too! Once they create account once, the online signup will not work anymore because your social is in the system. So you have to rely on telephone reps to sign-up again and I think they have problem because you are already a customer.
Thank you for the info. I'm giving this one more day, then I'm out.

I called once when I saw it. They already knew about it. From what I can gather the tele sales people are instructed to put people on the plan if for some reason they are having problems putting you on the free one with the intention of switching it later.

It isn't them screwing up but a way to expedite the process of you switching.

When I first called to activate she mentioned that she wasn't able to do it. Then she talked to someone and it was done.

I also gather that the problem was that I was already signed up trying online and failed because of needing to confirm identity then signed up again with the telesales guy.
Thank you. Again, I'll give them until tomorrow, then I'm out.

Yes you can do that. H2O will provide you port out details after 5 days of service only.

Porting from Freedompop Global SIM, I got account number + PIN,etc. from my.freedompop.com

It is showing "
Your number transfer has been authorized by your old provider to complete on 06/26/2017. Once you have your device, you can call (866) 437-1818 to complete your number transfer earlier." in my Sprint web account

What should I do? Wait it out?
Hey did you go through the website to port? Or did you call in?

I called TeleReps when activating SIM, I gave them my FreedomPop Account Number + PIN.

After FreedomPop confirmed it, It was scheduled to complete on 06/26, but I called yesterday to complete it earlier.

Can someone point me to the best way to add another line to port? Adding a line to my existing Verizon post paid or activating a prepaid?

Ok cool...So you successfully got on the Sprint Free plan and ported your FP # over to it.

I'm thinking about going to a Sprint store to buy a SIM and calling in to do the port...hoping it all goes smooth.

Lou2004, what SIM model allowed you to go back to the S4? Or did you need a different SIM. Or do they send universal SIM cards these days? I am going in with S8+/S7 edge/Nexus 6P (3 lines) initially and want to end up with S4/S4/Nexus 6P.

Anyone on the wrong plan successful at getting on the right plan, how'd you do it?

Wait 3-5 days?
Port-out, then re-port back in? Was the re-port on the phone or online? How long after porting out did you port back in?
Were you able to use the same SIM card?
Were you able to use the same BYOD that was originally on the wrong Sprint plan?

Are you saying you got FreedomPop to release your number earlier? I did the same thing yesterday activating on Sprint through telesales and was given a completion date of 6/26. I thought that was excessive since others have completed port in a couple of hours.

I'm in the same situation, except we have Moto Zs that can't be transferred. I'm going to pick up a couple of Moto G4 or G5s and a couple of Sprint SIMs. Probably all from Best Buy as time is running out. From what I gather that is all I need to port the numbers over and do this deal.
I actually just did this today. I picked up (3) Moto G5 Plus phones at Best Buy. On the box it includes the IMEI number so I just went on the Sprint website and entered the IMEI number plus our Verizon phone numbers and it worked. Just waiting for the SIM cards to come from Sprint now.

Thx, is there a reason you didn't pick up the SIMs while at best buy?
