Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Nothing I said is wrong.
First of all, the tmobile simcard I got at a c-store was attached to a $30 plan if I had paid for it in there. I decided to take it home and activated it online to see it it'd work and it did. Second, I funded it for $10 on a $3 plan because I was certain I want to port that number to sprint on the 1 yr free service, and it's better to be safe than sorry if they encountered any problem during porting because the account was freshly created and there was no funds in it. Third, I only spent $25 to start this sprint 1 free year of service and had no issues during the set up. Fourth, It's your problem if you are a cheapskate and want to spend hours elaborating on how to save pennies even though you are gonna save over $350/yr with sprint, Ditto.
This is SD, people are here to get best deal, and perhaps spending $25 in not wrong and I dont care if you spend $3000 to get a deal since it is your money you can spend anything you want, but tell people that they need to spend $25 while all they need is to spend $0.99, I port 2 lines with 2 numbers and all I spent is $13, I explore different way to share with others so they have the datapoint, and most of us here take calculated risk. I have no issue during my setup of my $0.99 Tmobile, last time I check $25 is 25 times of $0.99, if every deals you take advantage you spend 25 times more to get the same result this is a lot of $$$. Of course you are so generous you don't mind LMAO

-Buy a new tmoible sim (i brought them at amazon.com).
-call tmbile prepaid customer service number (# is in the package)
-tell them you dont have prepaid activation number but you have a brand new sim card and would like to sign up for tmobile prepaid.
-tell them you want the $3 a month plan and will fund it later (you don't need to fund it).
-the rep will then give you a phone number and ask you to set up a PIN.

-give sprint your tmobile # 1xxx-xxx-xxxx and the PIN.
-the end.
True, you don't have to fund your account. Since the activation number comes with $0.34 in it. Ignore the message which says you need to fund you our account or low funds in account. Make sure the phone# works by calling from another phone and you are all set to port to Sprint. Probably a good idea to update online account with correct addresss. Create a PIN also as it will be need by Sprint during port. Not sure if online address update is required but i did to avoid porting issues.

There is some misinformation regarding referral promo earlier a few pages back. While it is true there is only one referral per account, you can add extra lines within 7 days and get referral promo for all lines. Only one number needs to be register for entire account. I've already done it beginning of May and already received $500 visa gift cards (10x$50).
How did you add the other lines later? The sign up page does not seem to allow for this.

Without knowing the histories of the device and account, it could be a lot of reasons such as number porting is not completed, device is not paired correctly with the Sprint SIM, use the wrong Sprint SIM, corrupted files in device, poor signal, etc.

The phone and SIM used to work on R + and was the number was swapped to another phone before the switch to Ting. It has also been working on FreedomPop with both the LTE and Global sims and still works if I switch the sims - but not with Sprint

I haven't signed up for this promo yet. I had opened sprint account about two months ago and sharing my experience with referral promo.. I will probably apply for free promo soon with wife's info and with my referral (I'm maxed out already).

I've been sprint customer almost two months. I've never got the online swapped to work. Always had to call/chat with CSR. The latest CSR said since I was on promo plan I couldn't do it or it was website glitch and they are working on it.
Not sure if it will help but try porn (incognito) mode as someone else suggested. Sprint site has been screwy after they updated it earlier this year. My wife's new account (created for this deal) works fine so far (knock on wood). My account (which has been with Sprint since day one they introduced wireless service in the US as Sprint PCS) always has glitches since the update. I have to log in twice just to see my bills, and it will error out if I swap device too many times per billing cycle Big Grin

I have an LG Tribute HD, currently on Sprint's network (Tello). Is there any way I can port out from Tello, then back into Sprint to get this deal? Some people on Reddit seem to be saying you don't have to use a phone from the list on Sprint's website, not sure how accurate that is.

Anyone have problem with MOTO G4 PLAY stuck in configuring device for a long time?

Did you switch device or is the Moto G4 Play the original IMEI you submitted for this deal? If no device switching and if you have the correct Sprint SIM paired with the Moto G4 Play and if you have tried factory reset, carrier reset, profile/PRL update, etc., and assuming your number porting has 100% completed, it is most likely the Moto G4 Play has a MVNO flag on it. You can either ask Sprint or ask LiterallyUnlimited (if you trust him/her) to remove the MVNO flag. If all of these fail, reply back for more help.

Ok finally the right plan is on my account. Originally I did the web offer but had to call in for my credit check. I called the number on the wiki. My Sim card was delivered Tuesday I called the number on the paper to activate everything went smooth was told I was approved and had received the offer. I thought I was done when I went to check my account online It said I had the 2 gb plan for 45 dollars. I called the number on the wiki was told the rep had put me on a temporary account but everything was fineI had the plan. This was Tuesday what I did was call everyday to ask what the update was and when it was going to be fixed. Finally today received the email checked my account and have the unlimited plan. My advice is call escalate to the manager until it's changed it took 7 days for mine. In case anyone is stuck with a different plan FYI only call the number on the wiki. Sprint regular customer service representative have no idea what is going on and will screw you up.
Did you know which phone# and/or department has changed your plan to the right one? I'm having the same issue but they are not able to resolve it.

Thanks, Moto G4 Play is the original IMEI you submitted for this deal but will try the options listed and see what happens.

See below on how to port out of Tello and back to Sprint. Yes, you can use any phone that has support (both hardware and software/firmware) for Sprint radios. Some phones, you have to ask Sprint to add their IMEI onto the Sprint database if they are not already in it (search for my posts on how to do it). Good luck Big Grin

Let me recap how I did it with 2 numbers from 2 carriers
1. Tello (Sprint MVNO)
2. New Tmobile prepaid

---------------------------------------------------------
Line 1 Samsung s8 with my own Sprint SIM
Tel number ported from Tello -> ATT ->Sprint
Total Sim/Refill Cost: $12-$13

Order 1 ATT gophone SIM port number from Tello to ATT and refill $10
(I refill so I can get the account number, not sure there other way around it)

6/19 Call 1-866-782-8777 because credit check failed online and need to use my own SIM
Setup account in 1 hour with Telereps with the correct plan.
Provide the ATT prepaid number, ATT account # (call ATT to get it), ATT Pin. SIM ICCID, S8 IMEI

Line 1 the Bill is $4.15 New York Area

---------------------------------------------------------
Line 2 iPhone 6S with my own Sprint SIM
Tel Number T-mobile (new#) -> Sprint
Total Sim/Refill Cost: $0.99

I got a spare T-mobile prepaid SIM I bought long time ago, unable to activate this Tmobile SIM online,
so call to activate the SIM with a new number with the $3 plan.
BS not want to give out CC number on the phone to avoid refill. Total cost $0.99 for Tmobile SIM

The iPhone was on Tello so need to take it off Tello account and ask reddit guy LiterallyUnlimited to fix it

6/22 Call Telereps to add a line port the new Tmobile number to Sprint
The process takes less than 30 min to add line.

Provide the Tmobile prepaid number, Tmobile account # (1-NNN-NNN-NNNN N is phone number), Tmobile Pin. SIM ICCID, IPhone IMEI

Line 2 cost not yet know, should be the same as Line 1

So that's all let me know if have any question and if you are interested to get a Sprint referral PM me.

I just dealt with the the number in the wiki. I called every day made them put a ticket and escalated to the manager. One thing is make sure they put notes on your account and have them put a ticket to there manager. I called sprint's regular customer service number and they had no idea what was going on or what to do.
