No one has answered my question buy maybe you might know. My friends iPhone 6 plus model A1524 purchased from Apple store unlocked and paid in full cannot pass sprint eligibility check. The phone was only used on straight talk att mvno and h2o wireless att mvno. Why does it not pass FED? Is it because A1524 is sprint/world phone model even though it was bought as unlocked model at apple store and paid in full? My friend went to sprint store and wasn't given a reason why. They told him h2o locked it, h2o says they don't lock phones. No one knows whats going on or give any suggestions on how to resolve this.
Your insight will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Edit: perhaps StraightTalk using Verizon, Sprint, Tmobile, and ATT towers is the problem (the sprint tower part). Would LiterallyUnlimited be able to help?
The problem is I can't get the Change APN app to work for the Moto G4 -- it gets me to an APN screen but with no (+) or ... to reset the APN like I see when I use the app with my Moto G4 Play. I've wiped the carrier and reset the PRL many times to no avail.
Anyone else have trouble getting LTE on a Moto G4 (Amazon version if that is relevant)? Would love any tips. Would asking Sprint to swap SIMs to a new SIM help? My next step would be a trip to the local Sprint store to try that.
Edit: never mind. Other posters have said it comes in email after activation.

Sprint wont know why it wont pass FED because is not on their end is def H2O or Straight Talk. I suggest getting in touch with all MVNOs that phone was under or maybe Apple can help, or could also be for some reason that phone is not eligible?

I have a MOTO G4 Play that was on Ringplus but cannot get it to activate.

Ting Boyd checker says "Sorry, this phone can't be activated right now. Sprint says there's an unpaid balance associated with it.
The Sprint account holder (whether present or former) is the only one that can clear this balance with Sprint and you will need to get in contact with them. You can check compatibility again 48 hours after this flag is removed.
If you bought the phone from a 3rd party you may want to ask for a refund."
Swappa ESN checker says
"Blacklisted Not Indicated This device does not appear to be globally blacklisted.
Activation Status. Clear Device appears to be activation ready.
Ting Bring your Sprint or GSM device to Ting! No contracts. Just pay for what you use."

The homework in playing with eligibility checker and putting info on a spreadsheet and verifying no mistakes took much longer. Also porting out sprint current number allowed me to have extra phone numbers and devices to use. And time to setup and unlock GV numbers. Glad I took this route instead of calling in and wasting hours for any possible screw ups from phone CSR and just to save $27.24 in sims cost (I already have sprint sims in hand from having current sprint account and from Apple Store).
So here is the thing, I have phone 1 (p1) and phone 2 (p2), same model, and sim1, sim2, same model universal sprint SIM.
p1 and sim1 was activated at ringplus for a while, LTE and all. Cancelled the ringplus line entirely when it was belly up, hoping to have a clean release.
Then I put p1 and sim2 together (had to manually change iccid) at FP, LTE works. But p2 and sim1 combo never was able to get LTE. I ported p2/sim1 in for this Sprint promo, still the same, no lte only 3g. Had a ticket open, but just want to see if you guys had experience.
While at fp, I did everything people mentioned online as remedy for no lte, nothing worked. Call me stupid, but I like the iccid number so I want to see if sprint tech support can make it work (suspecting it was not released properly). I understand a new SIM may solve the problem. TIA.
