Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Just FYI for anyone else who is looking for a Sprint SIM for this deal, SIMGLW436C works for apple devices only. If you have non-Apple devices, look for the universal Sprint SIM with part number SIMOLW506C, which works on all devices.

TPO rides on Sprint and T-Mobile networks. Which SIM (GSM or CDMA) did you get from TPO? When you put the TPO SIM into your phone, which network do you see?
yea i knew it was Sprint and Tmobile. since im asking for friend, i can't see phone but i know they got GSM SIM. so i assume its tmobile network. thats why i dont understand why online it says AT&T

Try again or call Sprint. They probably just want to verify you are who you said you are if you have reasonably credit score. I don't know what is the cutoff score, but I would assume 600 and above, depending on which score they look at. On my wife's account, they pulled from Experian.
Is it fine? I heard that the credit check is hard and I don't want them to do it multiple times.

i dont know for certain, but i think it saying $5 monthly is correct, because you're suppose to get $5 bill credit to offset it by signing up for autopay.

i tried to swap my device online and when i click complete, it loaded an error message. i just went on chat instead and it's complete.

Got 2 SIMs in the mail today - while activating online I noticed one of my 2 phone numbers is wrong (typo from the form formatting). The 877 number rep says no record of account or credit check (I 100% did the credit check when ordering the SIMs).

Any suggestions? Thanks!!

For the GSM SIM, just tell Sprint that it's a T-Mobile number. It does not matter if it's postpaid or prepaid. If they don't ask, you don't tell Big Grin

It's a utility pull and multiple hard pulls from the same company will consider as one hard pull so it should not affect your score much.

Sure -- my Moto G4 Play activated fine with voice and data, but data was only 3G (no LTE). I followed these steps (copied from another SD post):

1) Install "Change APN" app from Google store
2) Open ChangeAPN and click the "option" ( the 3 vertical dots) in the upper right hand corners.
3) click "reset to default"
4) exit the app
5) perform carrier reset (note: need to use the *#*#72786#*#* as noted by someone previously)
6) after the phone rebooted, perform PRL/Device config update.

Unfortunately I can't get this to work for my Moto G4 (not play) because the 3 vertical dots don't appear in the APN settings via the Change APN app.
.

Mine wouldn't activate. Tech dept. couldn't help diagnose issue. Told me my device was bad.
So I played around with options - Settings , More, under Cellular Networks, CDMA Subscription selected RUIM/SIM and under System Select to Automatic and then PRL update. PRL updated and phone went into Device activation and a minute it connect to LTE.
Didn't have to install Change AN

The same thing happened to me. I tried chat and they said I had to go to the store. I did, and he was confused about the plan and couldn't find my info. He called the 8777 number for me and helped set up the account through them.

I got all the way to the porting and realized I'd used a number that was deactivated. I went home and read through here, unlocked my GV number and called the 8777 back. I explained I gave the wrong phone number when setting up and she was super nice. Set it all up and even called back a few minutes ago to see if I had the other phone to set up the next line yet.

The porting line said it will be working at midnight and she just confirmed that. I hope the 2nd line is just as easy!

Edit: I had to do the credit check twice too. online one was weird, said approved with 7.99 spending limit or something. 2nd one, on the phone, approved 5 lines with 150 spending limit per line and no deposit or fee needed. Also they waived the 30 activation fee, she said it won't be charged at all. I thought I read it was charged then credited but she said no.

That being said you can still click through your referral link and fill up info there. Others have reported getting referal reward without issues.

You have to call Sprint to correct the phone number or else you can't activate it. They can look up your account with the account number or your SSN if the account is already created successfully.

You don't have to install Change APN unless your PRL file is corrupted (therefore it can't update) or you can't change/edit APN on your phone. Even though the app is called Change APN, it also restores PRL file if it's corrupted. You can also restore the PRL file (if it's corrupted) by booting into recovery mode and wipe cache partition and factory reset if you don't want to install Change APN.
