Thanks.
Does anyone use iphone 7 which is unlocked on t-mobile with this offer. I checked mine
but it says ineligible online, I called sprint twice and they said ineligible. However I tried my friend's Sprint SIM which shows Sprint network. I do not want to open account and then raise a clickit ticket since it would leave me without a working phone and hard pull.
Also can i try adding it as additional line on already existing account. Would that help?
first off I feel bad for you that this is happening to you at all
second if someone cloned your IMEI to activate a blacklisted device on a CDMA network like Sprint then not only are they dishonest and immoral but stupid too-if you turn your phone on and leave it on either 1 of 2 things will happen:
Your device will handshake and establish connection with the CDMA network and/or the IMEI (therefore both devices) will be blacklisted since the IMEI is a unique identifier and two devices with the same IMEI in two distinct locations will flag fraud with Sprint.
The cloning is a federal offense by the way and if they are a "paying" sprint customer then there is an obvious paper trail leading to them.

Tried ##UPDATE# multiple times without any luck. Still having the same 3G speeds.
Any help is much appreciated
customer service wise ive only dealth with Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon and T-Mobile is the best but just like service it really depends who you talk to
so i definately want this Sprint deal, and will read this whole thread before making a decision since it looks like this deal is being extended.
-call tmbile prepaid customer service number (# is in the package)
-tell them you dont have prepaid activation number but you have a brand new sim card and would like to sign up for tmobile prepaid.
-tell them you want the $3 a month plan and will fund it later (you don't need to fund it).
-the rep will then give you a phone number and ask you to set up a PIN.
-give sprint your tmobile # 1xxx-xxx-xxxx and the PIN.
-the end.
I've read some horror stories in this thread about people having to wait 3-5 days to port in from Google Voice. My number from T-mobile ported over almost instantly.
I also ordered a ~$10 3-in-1 SIM, but T-Mobile said it was already activated.... so, I'm torn on whether the seller scammed me, if SIM was expired, or what. Guess I just won't leave feedback
