Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I know this might be asked before, I went through a lot of pages but could not find the info.

Does anyone use iphone 7 which is unlocked on t-mobile with this offer. I checked mine
but it says ineligible online, I called sprint twice and they said ineligible. However I tried my friend's Sprint SIM which shows Sprint network. I do not want to open account and then raise a clickit ticket since it would leave me without a working phone and hard pull.
Also can i try adding it as additional line on already existing account. Would that help?
What is the model number of your iPhone 7 and did you buy from T-Mobile? The ones sold at T-Mobile and att stores are not compatible becuase they have intel chip and not Qualcomm chip so does not have cdma.

no service. Store told me someone in Ohio is using my IMEI. If someone had a blacklisted device and they cloned my IMEI to it, they could then activate the device on networks it had been blacklisted from.
This is wrong on so many levels:
first off I feel bad for you that this is happening to you at all Frown
second if someone cloned your IMEI to activate a blacklisted device on a CDMA network like Sprint then not only are they dishonest and immoral but stupid too-if you turn your phone on and leave it on either 1 of 2 things will happen:
Your device will handshake and establish connection with the CDMA network and/or the IMEI (therefore both devices) will be blacklisted since the IMEI is a unique identifier and two devices with the same IMEI in two distinct locations will flag fraud with Sprint.
The cloning is a federal offense by the way and if they are a "paying" sprint customer then there is an obvious paper trail leading to them.

yeah it is a federal offense but if Sprint doesnt care, I'm not sure anything would happen to the criminal. I've had my phone on for a couple hours, we'll see if anything happens. When I try to activate it (using "activate this device" in settings) it goes to self service and gives me this message:

"Because of the type of account you have, we'll need to help you with this task. Please dial *2 from your Sprint phone or call Customer Care at 1-888-211-4727 from another phone so we can assist you."

just came across this deal and ive read the first 15 pages or so and theres been a lot of hate on Sprint... so i want to say i was on Sprint for like 8 yrs and switched to T-Mobile earlier this year and been using it for the past 6 months and T-Mobile service is not very good, Sprint was much better for me... just ran a speed test on T-Mobile and its like 4/4 so yeah i think service really depends on your location... i look into switching to Verizon too as there new 5GB plan is affordable but one of the reasons i switched to T-Mobile and thinking of going back to Sprint is because i travel internationally often and the free 2G data is very useful for me and Verizon doesnt have that

customer service wise ive only dealth with Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon and T-Mobile is the best but just like service it really depends who you talk to

so i definately want this Sprint deal, and will read this whole thread before making a decision since it looks like this deal is being extended.

This worked for me...For any of you looking for an easy way to port out try messaging the seller on this ebay listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/T-Mobile-Micro-Sim-UNACTIVATED-4G-LTE-REPLACEMENT-Sim-CARD/201884921247?ssPa... [ebay.com] and tell them you want the SIM card number emailed to you. Total cost for me via Best Offer was $3. Once you have the SIM card number do the following:

-call tmbile prepaid customer service number (# is in the package)
-tell them you dont have prepaid activation number but you have a brand new sim card and would like to sign up for tmobile prepaid.
-tell them you want the $3 a month plan and will fund it later (you don't need to fund it).
-the rep will then give you a phone number and ask you to set up a PIN.

-give sprint your tmobile # 1xxx-xxx-xxxx and the PIN.
-the end.

I've read some horror stories in this thread about people having to wait 3-5 days to port in from Google Voice. My number from T-mobile ported over almost instantly.
Thanks, the SIM I ordered from your link worked. Just unsure if I have to add a balance before I port to Sprint, but I guess I'll try porting first

I also ordered a ~$10 3-in-1 SIM, but T-Mobile said it was already activated.... so, I'm torn on whether the seller scammed me, if SIM was expired, or what. Guess I just won't leave feedback
