Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

It's only $3 to $5 per line. Do you really need to do that?
Well actually I live in an area where the tax rate is going to be 25%+ meaning I would pay $15 in taxes or so.

I've been using Tello where I pay much less, I realize it's not unlimited but I can get by with it.

This is a big thread and I tried searching but couldn't find anything so my question is can I successfully port from FreedomPop (iPhone 7) to Sprint BYOD offer?

Zip | Tax | Avg Speed | Recommend or Not | No. of Lines

91106 | (not sure yet) | 8mbps down, 1mbps up | Yes | 1 line

This was pretty damn easy and so far it's been great. My coverage - at least in Pasadena, CA - has been solid. You can't beat free!

Can anyone confirm activating a device not mentioned in the wiki. If so what device did you use to activate the account.

Got on this deal a couple days ago. For under $3 bucks a month I'll accept slower speeds (joke 3G network) and the relatively weaker coverage (ported over from AT&T). I already had the exact sim I needed and bought an eligible device so it was a no brainer. The service will include calling to Canada and Mexico and roaming if I were to travel there (once you activate the free add-ons on-line).

Process was smooth. Only issue was the wait time on the phone. I called in and after passing the credit check: I provided the IMEI, ICC ID and the exact info required to port over a line. I was up and running 20 minutes after the call ended. Again, speeds are a joke compared to the Big 3. I just hope LTE performs better when I access it out of the home. Awesome deal. A no brainer. Wish I hadn't signed another line onto a 12 mint service. I didn't bother calling it a sunk cost and transferring that line anyway. Oh well.

I think having a free Tidal subscription from Sprint will be interesting. I wouldn't even try it otherwise.

Just added the new Moto E4 from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Moto-4th-Generation-Exclusive-Lockscreen/dp/B071YC3G5V/ref=sr_tr_sr_3?ie=UTF8... [amazon.com] . The Sprint BYOD SIM does not work for this phone. If any of you decide to get it, make sure you use SIMGLW416Q. Purchased at BEstBuy for $2. Its the same SIM that the new Galaxy S8 uses.

What is the part number of that Sprint BYOD SIM that does not work?

The sim that's in this package. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sprint-3-...2374028402
Thanks for the info and repped. That looks like it's the universal SIM SIMOLW506C, which should work, unless the Moto E4 is too new. Could you please confirm if your Sprint BYOD SIM has SIMOLW506C printed on it? Did you also have to ask Sprint to add the Moto E4's IMEI onto the Sprint database?

There is another person who asked about it a few days ago, hope he sees your post Big Grin

Many people have ported numbers from FP (ATT/Global). What are the model number and part number of your iP7? If it has Intel modem, it will not work.

Completely forgot to tell you guys that I have today and tomorrow off. Unless Sprint extends the deal, I won't be around to flip the flag for you. Sprint absolutely can flip it for you if the phone isn't active and is otherwise eligible.

Call Sprint tech support. Tell the person you need your phone changed from PLBL to SPCS. If it seems like they don't know what that is, thank them for their time, hang up and try again.

If they extend it, I'll get to as many requests as I can and I'll continue to be around.

Sending an email to Ting isn't gonna be super helpful for the flag switch, because we have a lot of emails to get through right now.

Godspeed, you dealmakers. See you on the other side.

What are your phone make and model, and history of phone? Try the Sprint tech at 866-556-7310 (thank The_Deal_R for posting that number). May have to try several times until you get someone who knows how to do it.
Google Nexus 6. Worked with RingPlus until they went out of business, and then I moved to AT&T

I'm really struggling with this. I swapped my Tello number to an old device to free up my current phone. I checked on Swappa and current phone now shows as clear.

On Sprint when I enter the IMEI of the clear phone along with my Tello number, it shows as ineligible. I tried the same IMEI with a GV number as well and it still shows ineligible.

Is this a case where I need to ask Sprint to add the IMEI to their database?

Even if I had a brand new phone on the eligible list, would I be able to port direct from Tello? I know it is not supposed to work but has it worked for anyone (thought it might as phones not listed are sometimes working)?

Thanks to anyone who will take pity on a moron who has read many pages of this thread and learned well, not very much.

I was on AA and read this "If an existing Sprint customer chooses to participate in the offer and they currently participate in the Sprint Discount Program, the SDP discount will be removed."

Does that mean you can be removed from the "free" plan?

Yes, tried 2 different SIMOLW506C Sim's neither of them worked. I didn't have to ask them to add the IMEI it worked instantly after I gave them the new SIM information.
