Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

HAS ANYONE BEEN ABLE TO CORRECT AN IMPROPERLY BILLED ACCOUNT?

IF SO, HOW?

Sorry for the caps but tired of going round and round with untrained customer service reps.

Just added the new Moto E4 from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Moto-4th-Generation-Exclusive-Lockscreen/dp/B071YC3G5V/ref=sr_tr_sr_3?ie=UTF8... [amazon.com] . The Sprint BYOD SIM does not work for this phone. If any of you decide to get it, make sure you use SIMGLW416Q. Purchased at BEstBuy for $2. Its the same SIM that the new Galaxy S8 uses.
does the E4 have wifi calling? Anyway to get the g4play to have wifi calling?

What is the exact problem? What is the history of account? What is the history of phone?

I ported back out/back in as well to get the promo. They were taking too long to fix the plan. If you need to get your credit checked over the phone, have a sim card IN-HAND to before they attempt to run your credit. Otherwise, they'll put you on a "temporary" plan because the person who sends you sim cards has already created an account for you making you technically ineligible for the plan. Then they'll say the "back office" is the only one who can fix it over the period of 7-10 days.
So you just ported out the line that had the plan messed up, and then were able to port it back in by calling in again? Were you able to use the same phone and SIM?

Also, since activating online worked perfectly, and phoning in was a disaster, does anyone know if it is possible to just create a separate account in my wife's name and do the online activation again?

Please post how you manage to get the flip switched and I'll do the same. I may try Tello in addition to macrokelvin's suggestions. It looks like Ting will make the switch for people (possibly automatic when the device is deactivated?) but I didn't find any information about Tello doing the same.
I do still have a few lines with ting from the ringplus transfer so maybe I'll give it a shot with them, if not I'll see if sprint will do it.

There is no best way to do it, I think, because you also need some luck to get someone who knows how to do it. I would call Sprint tech at 866-556-7310 and also call the stores.
Thanks, tried to rep ya but it wouldn't let me for some reason. If this works, it will have saved me the cost of another new phone. Really shouldn't buy any more considering I have a dozen extra ones just laying around the house from past slickdeals lol.

They may ask you to put down deposit for no credit history. See:
https://www.sprint.com/en/support...limit.html [sprint.com]

Many people have, depending on the model number and part number.

You can swap phone anytime. You just cannot upgrade (i.e., lease a new phone or buy a new phone with installments on the line) before 120 days.

See my comment above regarding the iP5s.

A few people have used Boost devices on this deal. I remember LiterallyUnlimited said he can't change the MVNO flag on Boost devices, so you probably has to ask Sprint.

ADDED: I remember you asked about the Moto E4. The one from amazon works on this deal.
really...has anyone used a boost iphone with this deal.. was it locked or unlocked and how did it work as sprint says prepaid phones cannot be activated on postpaid..how to get it done..

Still unable to reply to messages, so I'm going to post this set of questions that I received here. Someone contacted me about moving Boost phones over from PLBL to SPCS, and I told them it's not likely to happen. YMMV on this, but my experience comes with working at Sprint for 4 years before getting my current gig.

1. Yes. Sprint owns Boost and can set its policies to keep people from using cheap Boost phones on Sprint.
2. Yes. This is basically an FED date that is contingent on meeting Boost's unlock policies (active for a continuous year, etc)
3. Yes, as long as it passes FED. There are some phones that pass FED but are marked as prepaid or MVNO phones, which Sprint makes ineligible for its network.

To clarify: Boost phones are, largely, unable to be activated on Sprint proper until they've met Boost's unlock policies. Even if you get someone to flip the flag (though my system won't let me), it will likely fail on the Sprint BYOD side because it's not met all the other requirements from Boost.
After some further digging and coming across this post it seems like a no go.

Anyone who's successfully gotten the switch flipped on a boost phone that passes fed check and used it to sign up for this deal let us know how you did it!

They activated me on a temporary $60 plan. Spent probably 10 hours on the phone with them. They are transferring me between departments, supervisors, retentions, promising credits, but nothing changes. Line frequently drops and they never call back. Every time I call back I have to repeat the whole story because they don't leave notes.

Yesterday I've called the number in the Wiki for the third time, they worked for 32 minutes doing something, told they have fixed everything. Checked today - the plan is still incorrect. Then received a call from another Sprint agent who listened to me for 30 minutes, taking notes and then told he will call me in 2 weeks to check if the problem resolved.

Pretty ridiculous...

I was on AA and read this "If an existing Sprint customer chooses to participate in the offer and they currently participate in the Sprint Discount Program, the SDP discount will be removed."

Does that mean you can be removed from the "free" plan?
No, it means they will remove you from credit union rewards or corporate discount.

Does your Boost iP clear FED? If it does, it will work.

If it passes the FED, it works. Read a few posts earlier for the Boost Stylo 2.

Contact Marci or Elisa if it's not fixed two weeks later or on your next billing cycle, depending on your billing end date. I think it will be fixed if they said they will fix it. You are not the only one who got put on the $60 temporary plan. You can thank me later Big Grin

So if it's a boost phone that passes FED, which my tribute hd does since it previously was on ringplus and now on tello, then it CAN be swtiched over to SPCS?

Yes, I am a phone junkie too thanks to sd Big Grin

How can you verify you are on the right plan? All I see is "unlimited -brop" and no details
