did anyone else mention this yet?
the terms changed and doesn't say Port in from POSTPAID carrier anymore.

just thought i'd share since I just added a line. today when i called to ask a line, she said is it tmobile prepaid. i just said yes. don't know if they can tell? and she was fine with it. she also said was my first line tmobile prepaid too. originally when i did the account setup and first port in, i said it was postpaid.

Yes but it needs to be take off an active sprint line by swapping phones or cancelling line associated with that phone.

If someone were to sign up, and later on make a transfer of ownership for the line(s) to another Sprint customer, will the 1 year free go along with the transfer? Or does the change of ownership kill the free year automatically?

I have one of the 50% off Sprint lines and was told it would kill the promotional plan if I transferred it. Idk if that is true or not but that is what I was told.

Ask on the sprint subreddit, they may know. No one here is going to be able to tell you.

Worth noting, in case anyone else was thinking the same thing as I was: you can't do this and then on the same line get the $2.49 a month iPhone SE deal from Best Buy. But I'm not too worried. Already gonna be saving about $800 over the next year from not paying T-mobile $70 a month.

Your credit worthiness is dependent not just on paying your bills on time, but on the duration of time that you have had bills to pay. So for instance, an 18 yo who opened an electric bill in their name and a credit card in their name at 18 yo and has paid their bills on time but has only had those accounts open for 6 months has a great credit score but not a very long credit history. So they will have to put a deposit down to open a postpaid account.

The deposit should be refunded with interest after 1 year of on time payments.

I am not sure if you can do that. Many people here said that they can't have 2 different plans on the same account. For me I used different SSN to open a bestbuy promotion iphone and another one for Sprint free 1 year promotion.
