Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

i have a question about making a new account on H20 Wireless, i read here when you make a new account people say it doesn't need to be funded. but their website makes you choose a minimum $10 pay as you go. chat also says the line must be re charged at time of activation.

Did you ever get a resolution to this? I don't want to pay this company $10 for nothing.
Has anyone gotten their port out info, or know what the port out info is from h20 wireless?
I've read some old topics that it is the sim card number, but also read they changed that.

Took 4 days for them to give me my account and pin number. Phone number is different from the account number. Yes I paid them $10 to activate my account plus the cost of sim card $0.10 there maybe better alternatives. If you need to port soonest, t mobile is awesome, but sim is also $10 at Amazon, and $3 to fund pay as you go. Some people say you don't need to fund it. Last time I used t-mobile it asked me to fund it,.minimun $10. But you can port it almost right away. I used t-mobile's phone rep to set up my new account and establish a new number.

Depends really on how you use your phone. I've tested Sprint's speed too vs Verizon and AT&T and it is so much slower, but I don't know why people would need 150mbps or even 50mbps if they just surf on different websites and go to Facebook and text their friends. Even watching 1080p video on YouTube is ok when I had Cricket before at capped 8mbps. At work we have wifi doing 80mbps and I don't see any difference with the way I use my phone, which is safe to say what at least 75% of the people use their phones too. Most important thing really is to make sure you have coverage wherever you go and it's good for your particular use, whether it be talk or data.
Thanks for being respectful, unlike the other 2 people. I guess the higher the speed the better chance you have of surfing the web, watching videos, and downloading stuff without stutters. And better chance of getting a signal inside a building.

I'm no expert but as long as I have decent speed, 4 to 8mbps, I'm ok, don't really watch too much videos while on data but 8mbps for me watching YouTube is good enough. Surprisingly, I get better signal penetration inside buildings on sprint than on cricket (AT&T). Ya we don't need to be disrespectful when we point our views here. People learn more stuff here than talking to those phone reps.

It may take until the billing cycle renews on that account for the financing agreement to show as cleared. I would call Sprint back and ask for a supervisor and see if there is anything they can do to mark the financing agreements as paid in the system since the charges are showing up on your credit card already.

You also can ask on the sprint subreddit to see if they have any ideas.
can you or any other person tell me how or why did it happen like this..

My new SE was having BLACKLIST STATUS: UNPAID BILLS, SPCS: YES, Activation: NO when I got from Bestbuy but did not activate yet.
Now after activation, it has BLACKLIST STATUS: UNPAID BILLS SPCS: NO, Activation: YES..

Why SPCS: YES changed to SPCS: NO after activation on line?

Yes, IMEI, device ownership flag, FED, etc. are stored in Sprint DMD.

They can whitelist/add the IMEI of any unlocked devices. You do your own firmware flashing. I put the AT&T S7E unlocked (from the Walmart deal) on my wife's account. I have a Verizon S8+ on my account. A few others have also managed to add the Verizon Note 5 (3G only) and T-Mobile/AT&T/Verizon S7/S8 to their accounts. May take several calls (and some luck) because not all Sprint reps know how to do it. Don't mention AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon, just say unlocked to the Sprint reps. For whitelisting/adding Apple IMEI, they have a separate tool called DNA2.

Apple GSX servers now interact with Sprint DMD to verify FED. Unlockers are more than happy to comply with the FED requirement because they make extra $$$ from "cleaning" FED.

For activating any device on the Sprint network (Sprint and Sprint MVNO), yes, two issues - device ownership flag and FED. Both must be satisfied if you are moving a device from Sprint MVNO to Sprint or from Sprint MVNO 1 to Sprint MVNO 2. Many people have reported that they change the device ownership flag but the device still fails FED and can't be activated; that is because the device ownership flag can be changed anytime even though the device fails FED, which is a loophole that Sprint needs to fix.

Since your Boost Moto E was able to activate on RP, Ting, and Tello, it's most likely already cleared the FED due to another loophole mentioned on the RP threads. Just ask Sprint to change the PLBL flag to SPCS.

Yes, you can do that.

If you cancel within 14 days, you pay only for the cost of the iPhone 8 (i.e., the remaining balance of the iPhone 8 installments will due). Sprint will refund all surcharges, fees, etc.

My bad, it was 10/1/2017 on the original promo, but then Sprint extended the promo, and it still says 10/1/2017 and 120 days on the website. I am not sure which is correct Big Grin

Glad to help Big Grin

Most Sprint reps are clueless. You have to keep calling until you get someone who knows how to do it. If they have created a ClickIT ticket, give them some time and the chance to work on it and hope someone who knows how to do it sees and takes care of your ticket. Don't create multiple tickets because that will only complicate things and confuse them even more.

Regarding FED, please check your Boost iP6 IMEI on Ting BYOD, Tello BYOD, and Swappa IMEI checker; and let me what messages do you see?
Verizon iP6 works.

Yes, it must be deactivated and removed from any account.

Some Verizon phones are eligible. What Verizon phones (model number/part number) do you have?

Yes it works. Special edition/open market means unlocked.

You can have different plans on the same account. Each plan has its own plan code and is billed accordingly. I have mentioned this many times.

I contacted sprint. They are not able to add my device's imei to their database. I would like to know if t mobile s8 has bands compatible with sprints network. Secondly, they asked me to get

Blacklisting has nothing to do with it. Neither does unlocking.

No it will not work.

No it can't be done. Sprint will not whitelist your device. Period.

don't tell them its a att or verizon s8... if it is unlocked just tell them its unlocked s8...
also i assume you are flashing it to sprint compatible or unlocked firmware.. right.. if yes... then simply get it added in database with other agent and tell them not to check compatibility if they are checking before adding it. macroklevin suggested this many times here.. i don't know how it works.. i am just repeating his words..

So I have an iPhone 5 with Verizon.

I ordered an iPhone 5s from Ebay in order to do the Sprint BYOD.

Question. Do I need to first get my Verizon number onto the 5s and then do the port over to Sprint.

Or do I just start the port over process when the new phone arrives without doing the step mentioned above.

Thank you for helping a new SDer
