Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

How does a GV number not work? Sometimes the eligibility checker is not working right and it will show yes one time and then no the next. I have successfully ported a few GV numbers and so have many others.
So assuming, unlocked GV will work with SE, what is the next step to proceed?

You call the special promo number to sign up or you order your sims online after putting in the imei and GV number to proceed.

They might be closed now though.

Is it easy to close a line ? I have a extra line, which i want to close. I don't want a fraud alert triggered on my account because of un-used line. I had to give the phone on that number to someone.

The radios aren't locked, it is the SIM reader that is locked.

But not all iPhones work like that. What model are you getting? If it is the iP6s/6s+, it will work.
I ordered the correct sim online for this unlocked Moto e4, but I also have a ting sim card that was sent to me, would this work instead of waiting?

Does the sim need to be in the phone for the setup, or can I just give the IMEI and sim information to the rep on the phone? I'm assuming because of how Sprint pairs Sims to IMEI I'm going to have to open the box and put it in.

Thanks in advance

You can give then imei and sim info to setup but when its time to do the actual port, you will need to put the sim in the phone.

I just want to add a comment for those reading this thread for the first time that are thinking of switching to Sprint but are worried there are too many hoops to jump through. I ported 4 numbers from post paid T-Mobile 100% online with no Customer Service interaction using the SIM cards Sprint sent me and had no issues.

$23.60 for 4 SIM cards overnighted from Sprint.

$11.32 per month for 4 lines. ($2.83 each)

Download speeds in Columbus, Ohio vary between 3mbps in buildings to 120mbps outside near a tower. I have not been without signal unlike T-Mobile.

iPhone 6s x 2 (unlocked)
Motorola X Pure
Samsung S7 Edge (SM-G935U)

There are so many posts here about swapping phones, removing flags, buying SIM cards from somewhere other than Sprint it may be discouraging for some that are thinking about making the switch. Only a few more days left!
Thank you, you make my concern about the hoops to jump thru go away!

can someone do a wiki about swapping devices? I need to port three lines to sprint but the phones are currently out of the country. They come back in august. I spoke to sprint and they said add-a-line also needs to be before 7/31/2017. after that day it will be regular line. i was thinking of borrow some IMEIs to port over (and test to see if port is successful) and then ask sprint to replace the borrowed IMEIs with the correct phones when they come back. I've seen some different info on this throughout the 400+ pages. is there a consensus?
thanks.

Many people, including me, were able to use a placeholder imei and then chat or call to switch it when the real phone is available at a later time

I ported without putting the sim in the phone. I swapped the device a few weeks later and used the same sim. I went through chat to swap
