Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

can you elaborate.
so I can call them and give one imei and proceed with the registration now and once I get the eligible phone after a week I can pop in the sim and use it in the new phone is it correct ?
You can't just swap the sim, you need to pair imei with sim for phone swap online or by calling/chat

Thanks for the reply. You are right but my port out is not going through. I submited the port out request to Sprint as per the information i found out on the my.freedompop.com. So after waited for three four days we( me and sprint representevie on the other line) tried to contact freedompop to see what the issue is. She said the pin number you provided is wrong and if you pas 5.99$ i will give you the pin. I do not know whether she is telling truth or just wants the money. I can cleary say account number and pin under port out information
Doesn't my.freedompop give you the option to generate a new PIN? If so, try generating a new PIN while on the phone with the Sprint rep and they should be able to at least tell you if the information if the correct information to initiate the port.

Well this has been interesting. I had Sprint in the past (been on Cricket). Still had a nano Sim, so I called in to activate it and port over..... go through account setup etc... SIM is not compatible with the phone. Hrm, odd.... very nice rep, calls a few local stores, sends me to one that had stock of BYOD sims. I get one for free, after the store rep asked what kind of phone it was. The sprint phone rep calls me back to do the setup, he says the new card is not compatible either.
Now they're sending me one. I didn't know there were differences with SIM cards other than their Size.

Unfortunately mine did not go thorugh. I submitted the information to sprint as per the information under my account on 07/23/17 but it is still pending. So while on the call me and sprint guy decided to call and find out the actual issue. Freedompop said i need money to give you pin (wow up fornt). I am not sure she is telling the truth or just the money
Are you using freedompop GSM or CDMA service? You might have issue if you're on CDMA. The account number is your phone number and you can change the pin if need to on my.freedompop com.

That's sprint with many different sims for each phone..it would be great if the wiki can be updated with the compatible sims.

Maybe FreedomPop is getting angry, cause so many port outs to Sprint? Atleast 500+ I am thinking, maybe even 1000 numbers ported to Sprint in last month for this deal? I ported 2 numbers myself from FP to Sprint lol

Anyways, can you cancel old port and try new number port or is it not possible?

https://www.reddit.com/r/NoContra...m/dkp6xlk/

"This is what I did to get another line on my free Sprint year deal. Bought a Tmobile SIM on ebay for $3, asked them to send me the ICCID number via email (so I didn't have to wait for the physical SIM) then called TMobile to activate it on the pay as you go but told them I don't want to add any funds yet. They activated it then I called Sprint and ported it over."

It will cost 3$, but will be faster than FP port as FP is landline number, T-Mobile port happens almost instantly.

Sprint was able to submit the port request with the information i found under my account but they were waiting for their reply to go ahed with the port. Unfortunatley they were not able to get any reply from freedompop and then after waiting for few days we decided to call to find out the actual problem. i believe most of us were able to port out from the my.freedompop.com account information but looks like mine got stuck for no reason. Let me try to see if i can change the pin and try to submit the request again.

I'm on the phone with a rep trying to get my phone (previously on R+ now with Verizon prepaid) eligible. He said the technical support is working on putting my phone on the system. Let's hope he knows what he's doing.
