Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Then once it finally got activated my house has no service, thank goodness for Wifi Calling, but it makes me wonder about other areas -- by the way I'm the burbs of Dallas --- shouldn't have any problem.
Have you tried using the phone elsewhere on the Sprint network?

If you are having connectivity issues where you should have service, there are a few things that could be causing issues that you can try correcting yourself.

If you haven't already, find the carrier settings menu under the network setting and update the Profile and the PRL, then power cycle the phone. If that doesn't fix the connectivity then the phone might require a network reset. Open the dialer and input...

If that doesn't take you to a reset screen then your phone might have a different network reset command. Sprint's tech support should have it. After doing the network reset, update the profile and PRL again and another power cycle.

If none of those fix the problem, then it's also possible that Sprint sent you the wrong SIM card for your phone and you'll need to have them send you the right one or go to one of the corporate stores and pick one up there.

Does anyone know if I could use a prepaid debit card to sign up for this promo? Thanks,
Yeah, I used card from Privacy.com

When bill is generated I pay with discover credit card to get 2% cash back on (3.92$ lol)

Like after bill is generated you have atleast 15-16 days I think before autopay will try to charge your prepaid debit card, you can pay before that autopay due date anytime with another source of payment

I will try to post photos later if it is still confusing

But make sure autopay is on, else they will charge 5$ extra, you see autopay payment setup gives 5$ discount.

Too high. They're not used to that. You just have to call them

I ported a tracfone, straighttalk and tpo number all with no issue. Tracfone and straighttalk use the last 15 digits of your sim as your acct number and call tpo for your acct number.
Thanks for the info on account number. I had no idea where to find that info from Tracfone.

How about the PIN...?

There is no pin. If you have created a straighttalk acct, there will be a pin that you create, but because these are both prepaid and no online account is necessary to use them, no pin is necessary to port out. She said if they insist to give them the last 4 of your phone number.

Trying to port my parent's iphone from Tracfone (they are not close to me so I don't have the physical phone).
Entered IMEI and phone number at Sprint site which says it's eligible. But does that mean the phone IS UNLOCKED and no issues.

So I activated two lines on the 31st with minimal pain and suffering. I ordered a 3rd sim at that time and added that one today, again, minimal pain and suffering. My account still reads 7/31/18 service end date, but it reset my usage info for all accounts (data, messages, minutes.) So far, so good. We'll see what happens when I get a bill.

It's the fact that if you signed up back in June, you'd get more than 'one year free' because you won't get charged until after 7/31 of next year.

Then they went full potato partially updating the promo page showing 9/30/18 language late last week and not honoring it apparently, which is the same as false advertising aka bait and switch.

With that, I'd like to ask those who applied on 8/1/17 and onward to post your expiration date on your plan detail page. Thanks.
I have looked and looked at my online account (mySprint.Sprint.com), and can't find a Detail Page or Agreement. Can anyone explain how I can confirm when my agreement ends?

Damn, maybe it is better to just go to Best Buy and buy the SIM. Phone will be here Thursday. Can a new line be added (ported) to existing free plan via chat?
No one here has tried that. Call.

My sprint app (android), top left tab under plans and services. Or on the website, View plan details and then under the data talk text, open the See details.

Either way you do is similar amount of work. You will need to port out the line and then port into the free plan. It's probably better to add a paid line to free plan but make sure they make no changes to free plan. That will save dads ssn for future sprint deals after the free year is up.

I suggest getting the sprint moto e4 from Best Buy its $2.49 a month with $60 gift card. Should come with the correct SIM card and can be reused on the free plan.
Didn't see that one. Is there a thread on that deal? Didn't see one. I imagine this only has CDMA and not an unlockable take it to any carrier.

It's great for this one year deal. Almost like free w/gift card.

Edit: Also, could you just add this to your existing 1 year plan account ( which BB will probably put it on a $45/mo plan), then pay off installment, go online and cancel that line and hopefully get back activation fee...........( which should free up phone and sim) and then call promo line and add a line? Could you also now use it to swap into an existing line? Or will their system prevent either of those scenarios? (I know i could just use partners SSN to get the phone)
