Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Apologies if this has been already answered, but I searched and didnt find anything.. I opened one line with this offer about a month back and had a couple of qns:

1. If I add a line with this deal: https://slickdeals.net/f/10457860, would it also be added as a 1 year free plan?
2. Does sprint allow me to unlock this new phone once I pay it off?

TIA.

I received an email today:
"I reviewed your request to enroll in the Sprint Miles Promotion for
AAdvantage members. You should know that by participating in the mileage
offer, you'll be removed from the Sprint Discount Program."

Does it mean if I accept it I will lose the free one year sprint service???
Did you ever get your AA Bonus miles?

I did it online at sprint.com/aadvantage [sprint.com] after I created an online "My Sprint" profile, which I did after I completed the account application process over the phone. I made no mention of the AAdvantage promo over the phone. After I submitted the promo online, I got a confirmation email that gave a confirmation number to track the promo status.
Did you get the promo?

If the phone was on Ting CDMA, it needs its ownership flag flipped to SPCS. And of course, you can't port in a Sprint MVNO number.
I also may have same issue with iphone5 from freedompop. Even It is Sprint compatible (as per sprint representative on chat), but still not able to swap it on free line. How to check value for this flag?

My experience has been hilarious so far:

*Ordered online, activated online, did everything online

*Got email that port in failed, please call port in department

*They tell me port in was successful, but there is no rate plan on the account.

*They put me on a "temporary plan"

1 week, 6 calls, 2 incident report IDs, 1 promised callback that never happened, and the first bill later:

*2 year contract: $200 ETF until 2019
*Unlimited My Way plan which is not even offered anymore
*One line $70 + taxes + $134.91 and counting in overages at $14.99/GB (LOL)LMAOLMAO

I did not agree to any of this verbally much less in writing and always kept saying "I just want what I ordered"

Still waiting to see what will happen,... will just cancel within the 30 day guarantee if they can't get their shtuff together.

Sorry, a little confused with this. I ported to Ting and on Ting my iphone Se is on CDMA with my original Sprint sim. The iPhone SE is unlocked and Ting said they do not change anything, I just tested my phone with a t-mobile sim and it worked ........do I need to do anything other than cancel Ting in a week or so?
Thank you for the reply, appreciate it

Same thing happened to me. I spent a week calling and speaking to customer service reps every day, and they never fixed it. I finally cancelled the account on day 14 under their satisfaction guarantee. I'm still waiting to get back the $205 I paid them to get them to unlock my phones (they refused to unlock them until my incorrect bill was paid off).

If you are using placeholder ESN for your line, there is not much workaround you could do. Either you borrow a compatible or buy Moto G5+ from Costco, which can give you 3 months buffer time.

I see conflicting messages in the wiki and the posts here. So need some guidance.

Can I setup a new byod account over the phone? I already have sim cards from the apple store and eligible phones, so don't need anything else.
