Sprint rep's system crashed as I attempted to add a line at 11:30 🙃

Chat says the number to be ported in is in reserved status but not activated. Wonder if they'll still honor the deal if they're able to salvage the port request and activate it in the morning. Guessing not but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I bought the Boost Mobile Bring Your Own Phone SIM Card Activation Kit from Best Buy. It was $9.99 + tax. The kit includes 3 different SIMs: SIMOLW506C, SIMOLW416Q, and SIMOLW506TQ. I bought 2 Lenovo Moto G5 Pluses from Walmart for $199 + tax each and then used SIMOLW506C to activate both phones. Apple Stores should also provide you with Sprint nano SIMs for free, but I can't confirm if those SIMs are eligible with this promo. The SIM card I received from Apple is SIMGLW436C. Hope this helps!
Thank you. Bought the last 2 Boost Mobile BYOP kits from Best Buy and lucky my 3rd SIM from Ting work for iPhone as well. Apparently the SIM card ending in C (i.e., 506C, 446C) works with iPhones while the 416Q and 506TQ don't.

Activated my lines at 2357 and everything went smoothly. The Indian rep is the fastest rep I have ever seen and her accent is among the lightest I have ever seen.

Where is everyone going to port to after the promotion expires? I'm considering MetroPCS for the first month and then Mint SIM.

Damnit. I had so much anxiety about it finally ending yesterday that I literally drove all over the county looking for SIM cards. I'm glad it's over though, but the SlickDealer in me wishes I waited another day to have gotten service for 13 months instead of 12.

I went to the Apple store to get an unlocked 8. They did not have any in stock. Then I asked for a Verizon one to use on Sprint. They couldn't get it to activate. The genius wanted to sell me a Sprint 8 and said they were all the same. I said no thanks and left.

Are they all really the same? I wanted one I could use on any carrier, since I am buying it out right.

Damnit, its getting to the point now I have to consider porting out and back in to a new account to get the new expiration date deal. Is 3 extra months worth the hassle, will it just be extended yet again.....those are the questions.
