Tried this today. I had switched from Sprint to Verizon earlier in the week and tested out the quick check online and it said I was eligible to port back over. Apparently, the Airave attached to my old Sprint account was still considered an active line. I would have thought they would have cancelled it automatically when I left Sprint. I guess that is what I get for assuming anything would just work with Sprint. They cancelled it, but then informed me I had to wait 45 days before I could sign up for this promo.

Is there anyway to get around that?
easy. use diff ssn and name.

Confused about roaming limit of 100MB?

1. Does that limit include coverage in Extended/Extended LTE areas?
2. I thought International data (unlimited but slow) is included in this plan? If so, it seems crazy that international roaming is less restricted than domestic roaming?

Please enlighten me! :-)

Whom did you contact ?
Used the contact us link here: https://refer.sprint.com/common/contact.pg and filled out info at bottom of the page. Asked a general question as to why my claims were denied and when they responded I asked to get in touch with a supervisor or someone who could help me get this straight. All done through a few emails back and fourth.

Hi all, i'm late to the party but my Verizon phones are finally coming out of contract. I had gUDP for years and I'm just about done with Verizon with the price hikes and am ready to move on. I have 3 lines, one out of contract today, one tomorrow, and the third on 10/29. Since 10/29 is very risky I plan to start the process tomorrow since I don't care about the phone # on the 3rd line.

Can someone please validate my plan? I plan to open the max free 5 lines by adding my kids. I have iPhones 5s (Verizon), 6 (Verizon), 6+ (ATT Unlocked), 6s+ (Verizon), 7 (Verizon)

The two verizon lines out of contract will port their actual numbers. For the other 3 lines I will use 3 google voice accounts to unlock #s and port to the devices.

Do I simply walk into an apple store today and ask for 5 sprint sim cards and execute the order/porting online tomorrow?

Yes, all of your phones seem eligible and compatible.
Not sure how long a port from GV to Sprint will take, but my Carrier to Sprint port was completed and functioning within 10 minutes.

Not really, but probably best to just go along with the CS person and say you have every phone on you. They sort of want to help and ensure that every phone is functioning/rebooted while on the line with you. Obviously, you must have the correct IMEI of every phone and ICC of every SIM card.

You might do the 1st today, to get the Sprint Account setup and such.
Or do them all on 10/29, whatever you want.

For Sprint you need to use correct SIM for your phone model otherwise service will not work
