Can I re-use my deactivated ringplus sim card for this?
Yes - if it is suitable for the phone model you want to use it with.

It sounds as if the phone you are swapping in may not be compatible.

I can't find any information if anyone was able to successfully swap an iPad.

I tried to move a line and gave an iPad's IMEI and Sprint said I can't use it even though it confirmed as eligible on their website.

I just activated the line so I will try to swap the iPad the next few days.
Have you already tried to swap?
p.s. I see iPads in the device list, but no confirmation on the working way for activation. Mad

I think tablets are not eligible.

The terms at the bottom of the Sprint page include:
"Plan not avail. for tablets/MBB devices"

I do not think anyone has reported success in activating an iPad.

The list is in error in including iPads. Looked at another way, they just posted Sprint's standard list of all Sprint network-compatible BYOD devices (that also appears elsewhere in the site under various different plans).

Yes, correct.technically compatible on their network, but definitely not allowed/activatable under this offer. POSSIBLY could be swapped in manually by "mistake" by a CS rep, but VERY unlikely.

Not if it's a prepaid. Postpaid, yes, if contract is paid and no obligation on it.

Is this promo still active? I signed up for two lines a few months ago and would like to add a third line. Can I still add an additional line?

Question in regards to changing phones...
I enrolled in this FREE plan with a Motorola G5 plus mid August. I am having issues with the phone and would like to return/exchange it at the store and get the same model again. Would this be an issue and can I still keep and be eligible for the FREE plan?
Thanks.

You can add as many lines as you want up to your limit. Most people on this offer were approved for 5 lines. Check your online account and it will tell you.
