The eligibility llist just refers to technical compatibility and means nothing.

You would not be able to port in a number for a tablet.

They push a "free tablet" and if you ask them if there is any charge sssociated with it they will clarify that there is a $20 a month charge. Go ahead, ask.

I have two lines on the free BYOD plan which I started more then 120 days ago.
Both lines are eligible for upgrade.

If I add another line to my BYOD plan today, will it be eligible for upgrade effective immediately, or will I need to wait another 120 days starting from today?

Basically what i am wondering is does the 120 days upgrade eligibility clock start from the date the line has opened or from the date the account has opened covering all the lines on that plan regardless of their port in dates.

Quote from JaTaN :
System is slow and incorrect -- it'll eventually update the date to 2019 (2 yrs away) then it'll update again when 120 days have passed which is when you're actually eligible

Are they still waiving the activation fee when you are adding additional lines?

My chats with Sprint have indicated that the new line will not be eligible for upgrade for 120 days.

Thanks for the info.

Yes. I have followed the instruction on page 1: 1) pay $3 to unlock my GV #, 2) setup pin for voice mail. When I called to add a new line last night, I was told that my phone and GV # were eligible for the service. My request was processed and a confirmation # was provided. I also received an email from Sprint with my confirmation # and phone #, but I found that there was an error with the phone #. When I called them this morning to correct this error, however, I was told that my correct GV # is not eligible. That's why I guess that their system may have changed.

When did you activated your plan?
Did you end up getting GV to work?

I chat with them yesterday night and they told me that the date the account was created is taken as the reference for the 120 days. And i could also upgrade the new port ins. It is amazing how they give different information.

Glad to see sprint is still screwing their loyal customers by offering free service to new customers so their already over populated network can be even slower than it was before.

That is why I prefer reading the posts on SD. You can get much betters support here : )

I think I will just port in another device and see what happens if they waive the activation fee.
