Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You definitely can. The list is only of non-Spint devices but you can activate any free and clear Sprint postpaid device. I have 3 activated.

If it was on a Sprint MVNO an additional step may be needed.
Based on your answer, I can return to Sprint on this deal with my used to be Sprint iphone 6s plus which is now unlocked. I am using it with Tmobile currently.

Yes. as noted also by Grouchy16.
Its IMEI may show as eligible already in Sprints eligibity checker, without even yet taking it off TMobile (because Sprint cannot see that it is on TMobile).
Even if not, you can probably still activate it by calling in.
Try it in Ting checker too and see what that says about running it on Ting's CDMA network (which is Sprint).

So far, biggest disappointment is slow data speed. I'm getting LTE but download speed varies from about 3Mbps to 8Mbps with lousy pings........
You may be able to get them to give you a Magic Box eventually to boost speeds at home. (They are backlogged for now though)

I did and it vastly increased speeds.

It retransmits on Band 41 only, therefore not supporting some other carrier iPhones or age-old iPhone users (only).

I did mention the phone insurance plan before, the rep lie to me said buying the insurance plan will make the process faster. The whole process was a mess, the mess up the plan and sign me up for a regular plan and charge me $60 per month.
I down loaded Sprint app and it appears I am enrolled in free Byod but no charge until end of month.

I don't know why the rep would send me to get a SIM card for my iPad Pro from Verizon, if he was selling me a new iPad. But I don't completely trust the process yet.

What is the customer service number I should use so I
I don't get another sales person. I am determined to cancel that insurance

Just make sure the iPhone 7 plus is the A1661 model with the Qualcomm chip for cdma and gsm. I would think you do have it if it passes the imei checker.
Can't believe this deal is still on, it is so tempting to port out all my 5 numbers and make a new account again and start fresh. been with them since June.

why don't you go to Sprint's eligibility checker to make sure everything qualifies?

Thanks. I don't actually need one at home, really, because I have good fiber internet at home. I was more observing the speed difference. I'll care more about the speed when I'm out and about and wouldn't have the box with me.

I have a friend who got one of the Sprint "Magic Boxes" installed at his office - I'll have to drop by with my phone and see if I indeed see faster speeds and if band 41 appears. My phone does appear to support 41.

Just avoid the 8777 number (which is Telesales ) when cancelling add-ons such as insurance that are not plan dependent.

I think I would use Billing chat or general chat. They are nice because you get a transcript. Personally I would tell them that you said you did not want it and that the sales person misled you that it was required, though you do not have to do that. You can just cancel it regrdless.

Or you can call 844-382-3312 if you prefer.

You will not have any trouble cancelling it.

Now, to ADD another line, etc., you do need to call the 8777 number.

I get 60 Mbps and completely stable using a Magic Box. But it will be different somewhere else.

Do it.

As u know, I did one and it was sort of a PITA..but for you 6 more months is ~$500 savings.
Are all 5 lines actively being used by 5 different people?
If so, then that adds another level of coordination.

As a side note...when i did this with h20..surprisingly the account number was the same as the one i had back in August (same telephone number)..and the pin was just the last 4 of the new sim card.

Note it was under 2 different names at h20, but (i am guessing) because the phone number was the same..the account number was the same as well.

That could potentially save u $50 at h20 , not having to fund the accounts $10 x 5.
Also, h20 has/had policy that a ported in number cannot be ported out for 5 days.
but i was able t do so in 3 days (something to keep in mind if h20 route)

Do it.

Just do it khan....

i know it is so damn tempting lol, that is at least $600 ($100/5 lines x 6 months) cuz i used to have the Cricket $100 for 5 lines. yes all 5 lines are currently active. thing is i already have used mine and the wife's ssn. damn i need to be creative and find a ssn. maybe i will cancel my wife's paid account and hope her ssn will fall into a loophole and i can re use it again before the month ends.

Just wanna understand... Did you already have the Sprint free plan? If so, what would be the benefit of porting out all your numbers (from the Sprint free plan account) and make a new account and start porting them back in...?

i am already 6 or 7 months in the free byod plan. if i port out my numbers and have another new social security number to use and port back in, i will have another fresh 12 months of free service from everybody's favorite carrier.... :-)

Pardon me for being skeptical. I have been eyeing this promo for quite some time. For the life of me I can't find the "catch." I'm currently on MetroPCS, they have 4 lines for $100 unlimited and they don't want to upgrade me. I was thinking of threatening to switch to this and see if that gets me somewhere. I'm a bit hesitant since I'm not sure how Sprint signal is in VA beach.
