Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Hehehe. I quit!.... Unless there is another cellphone deal lurking somewhere..... Xfinity mobile has an ok deal for an LG X Charge.... But compared to the same deal a few months back, it is $29 more and like 4 months after that you can reap your rewards.

I decided to just order the sim card from sprint. I am worried now though since one
guy posted they sent him the wrong one a bunch of times. Plus, the lady told me
1 to 2 day shipping and the receipt I got in the email is 3 to 5 day shipping...

Also, I thought they shipped the wrong one, 760492034500, since twig and ting
say I need to get SIMGLW446C for a pixel xl but I found this list which says the
pixel xl can take SIMOLW506C or sprint part 760492034500

https://bestcellular.com/byod-sim...e-devices/

I guess I will see if it works when it gets here.

oh, They said they cant get any of my used boost sims working on their network
that is why i had to order one...

If I buy Sprint Iphone X from BestBuy on installment plan to get discount, what is the best/cheapest way to put it on my BYOD plan? I am already eligible for upgrade and I am eligible for extra line on BYOD plan. Thanks!

macrokelvin says you would be ok with either which is good news so I believe you will be all set now!
.
Just by the way, there is no such thing as literally a Boost sim. Boost is just a prepaid brand of Sprint and uses Sprint sims. Most retail packaging says Boost/Virgin/Sprint on it. I realize though that you probably just meant "Sims from earlier use on Boost." But you certainly cannot take random Sprint sims and put them in a phone on Sprint, even though this may work on GSM. Whether they have been used before or not makes no difference.

Dude, you can disable data on the X Charge. That's what I've been doing. Local talk and text is free. I have 1 phone left, sold 4.

Anyone know where I can get a place holder imei so that I can activate this unlocked Motorola e4. Their system is reading it as a Motorola e4 Locked to Verizon but I unlocked it. I confirmed it working because it works on T-Mobile but just need a imei to go through the process. Any help is greatly appreciated.
The Verizon E4 won't work on Sprint, even after unlocking it. Only the fully unlocked E4 will work. The E4 unlocking is GSM unlocking, not CDMA

My Sprint story, from start to (finish?):
A few years ago I went on vacation to California and needed a phone with GPS for directions, as my Palm Treo just wasn't cutting it, and nobody knew what a Treo was anymore. I stopped at a Boost Mobile store and they were giving away a free phone with a free month of service for new accounts, so I went for it. I would let the payments lapse so I could keep the number and not have to pay -- although I got no service. Then I would pay right before they were going to terminate my phone number.
The phone became a wi-fi device after a while. So one day I turn it on and discover a text message from Boost that says they're giving a free month of service. Towards the end of the month, I went to a Metro PCS store to see if my phone was eligible to port over. They said it was, and I got a free KG K20+ out of the deal. Of course they kept trying to sell me their best plan, but I wasn't going for it. I just wanted the basic plan that got me onto their network. I ended up researching the cheapest phone that I could port to Sprint for a free year, and it turned out to be the Moto E4. I ordered the Moto E4 Unlocked/Amazon Prime phone for $100.
After it arrived, I went to the Sprint store and asked if they had any of the SIM kits available for the BYOD deal. They did, but I had to ask one of the seasoned veterans, as the others didn't know about it. Next I stopped back at the Metro PCS store to have them swap my phones. They asked how long I had my account, and I told them it had been for almost 2 months. They told me to wait until my payment due date, for some reason.
I figured I'd try another Metro PCS store, and they said it didn't matter how long I had the phone. So we swapped the SIM from from the K20+ to the E4, and everything looked like it was good, and they told me we were done. I told them I'd like to make a test call, and then we discovered it wasn't working. It recognized a SIM card was inserted in the new phone, but we weren't having any luck. So we swapped it back to the K20+ and everything was back to normal.
Fast forward to January 1st -- which is the last day of my Metro PCS service. I figured I had nothing to lose by calling Metro PCS, as I wanted to get it done, since I wasn't sure if I would be able to port a number from an account that was shut off. So at 11 PM I called Metro PCS and was able to do most of the SIM swapping myself, then a CSR finished it out.
After my E4 successfully made a call, I went onto Sprint's web site to attempt to start the process. It said I was eligible, but then I got to the part about ordering a SIM kit. It wouldn't let me proceed without ordering one, so I chatted and was given an 800 #. So I went thru that rigamarole, and shortly before midnight, Sprint said Metro PCS successfully released my number. A few minutes after midnight, my phone became active. Unfortunately, my billing date is on the 1st and not the 2nd -- as that is when the call was initiated.
So that is my complete experience. Thanks to everybody who helped answer my specific questions about the process, as I would've gotten the wrong phone otherwise! Hopefully somebody else can use something in here to help their process along.
Oh. And my motivation for doing this? Well, I knew there were a few hoops to jump thru, including research time, but I received a small notice in the mail from a collection agency. I had been with Sprint for 12+ years, but was only under contract for the 1st 2, as I always purchased a phone off ebay to add to my account. When I left Sprint for Boost (and immediately saved 50%) they decided to hit me with a ~$400 Early Termination Fee. And charge me for another month of service. I decided I wasn't going to spend hours on the phone, so I sent them a letter, and they kept calling and calling. And calling (despite crystal clear instructions in my letter to not call, but write) Then they sent me an email. So I replied with what I had already said in the letter. They removed the termination fee that was charged in error, and part of the other incorrect charge. But apparently that was eventually turned over to some collection agency. So when I got that in the mail, I made the decision to take Sprint for a ride. I'll be leaving them shortly before my year is up, and going to somebody else who is giving out a good, free phone.
But thanks for the unlimited 4G data, Sprint -- I haven't had that before, and it is really nice.

Your reaction is very understandable and I would not question it at all. If anything, it seems understated.

if I want to add a line, do I have to do it with an eligible phone first or can I do with any sprint phone? I was thinking of adding a line and use my Samsung Galaxy s5.

Any free-and-clear Sprint postpaid phone is also eligible although they are not explicitly listed.. Use the sim that is in it - it does need need a new one.

If it has been on an mvno it will get an error at first which may say money is still owed on it. That takes a lot of detail to explain so just search this thread on LiterallyUnlimited for how to fix that.

Sometimes even apart from that they do not show as eligible in the tester and you have to call in to activate them.

I have 3 Sprint phones activated that are not in the list of non-Sprint phones thjat are eligible..
