Fair enough. However, the rep specifically said that I could take advantage of the promo February onwards all the way to 2019 (she said February because I specifically asked if the promo is being extended to February). Also, I did not provide any info about myself nor did I mention that I currently had an account. For precaution, I used chrome instead of the My Sprint app to chat. Nevertheless, if Sprint internal memo has been wrong before, maybe the rep is to.
Well the rep. is confused or there was a miscommunication, no matter.

Sprint is definitely not going to guarantee to keep the offer open to new subscribers all year. No carrier has ever guaranteed that.

Yes you will be able to take advantage of the offer all year if you subscribe now.

But you'll have to sign up by Jan. 31 unless extended. That is the current last date as confirmed by numerous reps.

Then you can use it and changes all year.

Agreed. Dealing with Sprint rep is time-wasting, energy-draining, drives-you-crazy, moments that you will remember for rest of your life!!!!

Btw, when I first signed up for this, I called Canada because Sprint advertises it as free, but I was charged for it. You have to call or go to account and ENABLE international calling for $0.00 . SHADY SPRINT!!!!
Hmm. Free international calling? Sounds too good tbh. Ask for there are any fees or charges associate with making those calls and/or using those minutes. This doesn't sound right. That being said, I would like to have that service if it was free as well.

How's your signal bars? I had voice call cutting in and out a bit and slow LTE inside my house. Sprint said my address was eligible for a free magic box. They are sending it now. Not sure if it'll help.

It isn't.free.

$5 a month for Canada and Mexico if you buy the Canada-Mexico addon.

Otherwise 40-50 cents a minute for Canada. I know - I paid it and I had the International Calling option which did not help.

The FREE plan does NOT get all of the benefits of the paid plans mentioned in TV ads.

Right. Sounded fishy 🎏. I hope he reads it and opts for the $5 add on. As for me, I just ordered a free magic box. I asked the Sprint rep if there are any monthly fees or charges associated with this box and its usage. He said no. I read some people being charges monthly taxes and box being considered a different line and now I'm a bit nervous. I forgot to ask if it'll be considered a new line. Any ideas on this?

I have a Magic Box. Totally free. Doubles my speeds and adds complete reliability.
It is an addirional line but a free one. No tax.

Wow, what a difference. I'm on Mintsim, which is Tmobile. I generally get 10 to 25 down here in Phoenix, depending where I am. But I had an especially strong signal the other day and tested it... 97 down. Couldn't believe it.

My familiy is in Miami, in the Gables.

Ultra Mobile has free, unlimited international calling (to land lines) to over 60 foreign cities and an allowance to call free to mobiles. Also unlimited int'l texting. Mintsim has unlimited int'l texting and if you get the long term plan (ie 6 months, year) you get a "Wallet" (allowance) to use for international calling, land line or mobile. I have a 1 year plan and got $40 in my Wallet, which spends at only about 1 cent per minute. They both use Tmobile lines

Get a new free GSM number from Ting for porting. Genghis_Khan or any Ting members can hook you up Big Grin

Is that some kind of range extender?

Awfully short notice. That's my problem. If I knew now whether or not it will extended, I'd know how to act. I asked a couple Sprint reps and got the same answer: it is often extended, but it's a limited time offer and they can't say for sure one way or another.

So, I have a phone with a glitch, but I may have fixed the glitch. I can send it back to B&H for return or exchange, but the turnaround time will take it past the 31st. I saw the first sign of this glitch the day I received the phone. Wish I'd sent it back for exchange then.
Instead of exchange, ask B&H if you can order a new one now with the same price and return the glitchy phone for a refund.

Yes... It literally sucks band 41 from outdoor and blows it indoor. Band 41 is 2.5 GHz, therefore it does not penetrate building/wall very well (probably lack of Viagra).

Can't hurt to ask, but I highly doubt they'll go along with it. That was a special price combined with a $25 clip coupon. But I'll try it.

I had a Verizon range extender one time. They normally charged over $200 for it, but I got them to send it to me for free. That particular area of town was a black hole. With the extender? Still a black hole. Over $200 in supposed value yet worthless.

I forgot to enroll for autopay. My bill was generated today and it shows $8.74 ($5 plan + $3.74 taxes). If I enrolled for autopay today, will it remove plan charge?
